Attack On Practice Room Intruders In this present day and age, music majors at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu,
Hawaii live each day of their lives with the dire necessity to regularly practice our dear and beloved music on our campus. Almost all students absolutely must practice at our school because some of them live far, far away, do not have a piano at home, are from out of state, or have to schedule rehearsals with other music majors for our concerts and exams. We also need rooms to warm up in before performances so that we do not play cold and do not risk injuring ourselves.
In addition, it is impossible for us to succeed without perfect practice because we

First of all, these imbecile trespassers are taking up available spaces that students could be using to clock in those hours that they need for that critical competition, recital, or audition that could make or break their reputation or make a name for themselves! These violators, who are so worthy of being on Santa Claus’s naughty list, are thieves of an expensive, but invisible universal element called “time” which once taken, can never be returned. That is why we music majors must have our practice time without the interruptions of those rogues. I must specify that you have a policy set in place which frankly states: “practice rooms are reserved for students only.” However, I do not think that posting that rule everywhere will stop them from coming because I hypothesize that humans, by nature, can be quite stubborn and defiant creatures. Part of the reason behind our problem is that our precious and valuable practice rooms are so easily accessible and do not even require a key before dark. Although the department does this out of convenience to its students and faculty, but this also makes it convenient for outsiders without the department realizing it! This is having a fatal effect on the students who use them because they may not always be able to go in whenever they please.
Some of these visiting outlaws may even lie about being students. Beware! We music majors truly know when someone in the department does not belong. Allow me to

I am a dedicated and conscientious student in class, and a key member in many extra-curricular activities. As a keen musician, playing violin, trombone and piano, I contribute to a number of musical ensembles in school and played an integral part in the organisation of our school’s summer concert. I am also a member of several local youth orchestras and bands, with whom I have toured abroad many times, most recently to Italy, France and Belgium.
Music is an essential part of today’s culture, especially here at the University of Delaware. There is a wide variety of activities to get involved in on campus, from instrumental ensembles to choruses and everything in between. There are also several options for majors involving music. Overall, there are many options for each and every student at the University of Delaware to pursue their passions, and to expand their college education to studies that consist of more than could be learned from books, lectures, and laboratory work. This was the ultimate goal for Rodney Sharp, a very significant man who invested a lot of time and money in the school.
Throughout the past year, I have observed students at various levels at the DSR, and consistently witness the power of the unparalleled education and experience the students are receiving, whether the student is five years old, or fifty. The classes that occur every week are more than just music classes; music is the core of a joyful and hugely influential way to educate and enrich the lives of those students who are involved.
Seeking experience in music, I spent over half of my high school career invested in fine arts programs such as AP Music Theory, Patriot (honors) Guitar, and Advanced Chorus. The music community was all but uninviting and blossomed into a society I wanted to continuously take part in for as long as I could.

It is critical for staff to overcome the temptation to ignore strange behavior or explain it away. People find it much more tempting to explain away the behavior by making assumptions in favor of the member and the member's peculiar behavior.

Do to a wide range of incidences and accusations centering around students and their backpacks outside of class we are asking that all backpacks stay in class at break, lunch and P.E times. This means that we will all need to be extra diligent to keep our doors closed and locked and rooms free of all students when we are not in
This would allow students to go to the restroom at least 20 times during classes throughout the semester, because some students do not have time to go during passing periods.
In year 2016, I graduated from United High school a class of almost 1,000 students. Our school had two campuses: the 9th grade campus and the main campus for 10th-12th grade. The campus has two levels, when climbing the stairs and walking through halls the people were shoulder to shoulder and followed less than two feet away from each other. The building was packed with students. At lunch, the students lined up along the walls outlining the room that extend towards the main hallway of the school. The school offered as much supplies, materials, and assistance to students as possible. There was an instance where a school staff member offered folders, pencils, a journal etc to anyone that needed it. In classrooms, teachers include modern technology
On Monday, August 28th, that day marked the first music salon class of the semester. Before we officially started, we had cake, cheese, crackers, and grape-apple juice. While we did not have an official speaker for this class, our professor, Lisa Weiss, led the discussion for the evening. She started by introducing herself. She talked about her life in Boston, Massachusetts, and stories from when she was an undergraduate at Harvard University. One of the coolest stories of the evening was learning from Weiss that she had performed with Yo-Yo Ma. Afterwards, we introduced ourselves and talked about our dreams for the future. The class is small, about seven or eight people, however, we all have big and different ambitions. For example, two students are interested in the medical field. Although we are diverse, we all have one connection and that is music.
Music has became a major role in my life, I could not live without it. I have met many people who share the same passions as I do. The inviting atmosphere and enthusiasm was inspirational and motivating. The most rewarding part of every event was the performances. The rush of adrenaline and excitement would flow throughout every ensemble member. My most significant contribution to my school is all of the orchestras that I have participated in. I have attended the Honor Orchestra of America, Indianapolis Side-by-Side Program, Hendricks Symphony, Avon High School Symphony Orchestra, the Musical Pit Orchestra, and the ISSMA Solo and Ensemble. I have been in almost every ensemble available where I live. I feel very accomplished with my achievements. By attending all these ensembles, I have made my school more well known in the Performing Arts for Orchestra.
