Critical Paper The Avengers: Age of Ultron The movie, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, is an adaptation film based off of Marvels’ comic book series. It’s an action and science fiction film that has many big name stars as a part of the cast. Tony Stark and Bruce Banner try to start up a program called “Ultron,” which is supposed to be a worldwide peacekeeping program. When things go wrong and Ultron develops a mind of his own, the peace program turns into all-out war between Ultron and all the Avengers and it’s up to them to save the world from destruction. I really enjoyed watching this film because it’s a sequel to the first Avengers movie and they incorporate a lot of other movies that have their own story line about other super heros and …show more content…
Whether it be by a mysterious beginning, or a crazy, action packed opening scene, I like movies that give me a reason to keep watching it. The Avengers: Age of Ultron started off with an extensive action scene to start off the movie, followed by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner figuring out that they could upload the Ultron program with Loki’s scepter. They upload the program in secrecy and decide not to tell the other avengers. This movie got me hooked right away. It had action and a secretive side, which I think got the movie set up with an intense plot line that kept me drawn in the entire …show more content…
With technology getting more and more advanced, it’s becoming easier for film makers to make the unbelievable or impossible seem like it’s not too far-fetched. That is more true for other movies because obviously we know that superheros don’t actually exist, but the special effects in this movie were incredible nonetheless. In the action sequences of this movie, special effects played a huge part. Like when Tony Stark broke out his “Hulk Buster” suit to try and subdue the Hulk, they ended up getting into this huge brawl and were crashing into buildings and actually to end the fight Tony Stark crashed through and brought a whole building down on top of the Hulk. The special effects in this scene were crazy and actually made it seem like the scene was real and not just a computer animation. Special effects also played a huge role later, towards the end of the movie when Ultron picked up a huge part of a city and it was literally floating in
Superheroes are a common thing in movies, TV, and especially comic books. They fight for the good of the city, the world, or the universe, usually against a villain wanting control. These villains are almost always equal in power or more powerful than the hero. General Zod, for example, had almost the same powers as Superman did (I am not doing my villain essay on General Zod, so please keep reading!). However, when a villain can’t be beaten by only one hero, he becomes a much bigger deal. Ultron is a villain that has caused the Marvel universe a lot of trouble, as he is one of Marvel’s biggest villains.
The Avengers, excellent movie of all times for sure, no opposition. Great story line, great screenplay, and best of all, great characters. The characters’ personalities are amazing together, and even more amazing when studied individually. What makes them so amazing are their very contrasting characteristics. My primary focus, The Incredible Hulk, and The Black Widow, two opposing forces, so similar yet so different. A great powerful beast and a beautiful young woman, but do not let body sizes fool you.
This movie was fantastic. It was what the first two "Iron Man" movies, "The Incredible Hulk" that starred Edward Norton as Bruce/ Hulk, "Thor", and "Captain America" were all leading up to. It was the biggest problem they had ever faced, and it forced them to pull together. The film does, however take some time to get going; the group is off each doing their own thing, and needs to be called in. The beginning of the film was a little slow, but the more you watch of the movie, the more interesting things get. Tony is his usual snarky and smart ass self, and as predicted, he does not do well to playing with a team. Although he does have some luck getting along fine with Bruce Banner. "Avengers" features a lot of action, especially when the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. battle the aliens Loki brought to Earth, but the movie features a story too. None of the team members works well as a team, they spend about half of the movie fighting with each other over how to take care of Loki. They have little time to put aside their differences and work together, no time to really hate each other. They are finally able to
Tension. That is what makes or breaks a movie. For a film to create tension, to keep a viewer at the edge of their seat. To reduce them to tears. To highlight a way of life so foreign to them. To find redemption in the most broken of characters. That is the mark of a great film.
I love the Avengers. They’re a power group of phenomenal superheroes, including: Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, The Hulk, Hawkeye, and Thor. The Avengers are my favorite superhero group because of all the amazing talent that each member has to offer to the group. Captain America is strong and has strong leadership skills, Iron Man is a genius and an indestructible iron suit, Black Widow is an incredible fighter and has strong will, The Hulk superhuman physical abilities, Hawkeye is a trained marksman and archer, and Thor is strong and has a hammer that can summon storm elements. With all their abilities and powers, they’re indestructible! Unfortunately, we don’t have super people running around in extremely tight pants and capes just
I have chosen these two particular Superhero films because these two are my favourite Superhero films of all time, I never get tired of them and love exploring and learning new things about them. Their graphics and new elements that come along with every new film really fascinates me. Observing how many details and elements of the films differ and change throughout the each film is very interesting and something I personally look forward to. These two specific Superhero films differ to a large extent yet still have a lot of similarities and also show the audience just how much technology has evolved through the years.
I recently watched the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie; I had been waiting something like two years since the first avengers movie came out. I think it lived up to all the hype and it was as good as the first film, if not better. It is pretty much nonstop action from start to finish.
They found themselves in a grand theater, with luxurious red seats and grand balconies lining the walls. But to the Avengers’ surprise, they weren’t alone.
The Avenger, one of the best movies. It is a great story. Also, it has great character, their personalities are amazing. Specially, when each character has a characteristic that distinguish them from others. I will focus on the incredible Hulk and the Black Widow. The Black Widow and Hulk are superheroes, but they are different at their anger, reaction and body size.
The movie begins with the dialogue “we are under attack”, however, in a different perspective; the movie presents a scenario where the good people are attacking the bad guys. The good guys are comprised of actors that we consider to be our heroes such as; Hawkeye, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Black widow and Thor. The bad guys are those from the Hydra research who are claiming scepter ownership. The powers of the scepter are not yet known, however, it is believed that it is a very powerful thing. Thor’s brother Loki is however, the evil guy in the story who comes to earth with the purpose of conquering and stealing the most elusive object. The threat is greater than what the earth has ever witnessed before. The

Movies are categorized in different genres and the action genre of movies is interesting and appealing. The action movie avengers’ age of ultron is an interesting piece since it is based on superhero adventures. The story follows the ups and downs of superhero characters that are out to save the earth. The action flick it triggered by the character Tony Stark jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program that threatens the existence of earth. The superheroes reassemble to combat the situation and save planet earth. Considering the story and characters, the analysis of the movie has a broad range of elements to be considered. Some of the elements of analysis include character, sound and picture and topic based analysis. Considering the different
This paper will explore in detail how Marvel’s superhero films work as a part of Marvel’s transmedia universe of film, television, comic books and other sources of media. Briefly touching on what transmedia storytelling is and a brief history of to how Marvel has become what it is today.
The target audience for this film series is young adult males and females that love superhero characters. This is important because the audience can understand the language and terms used in the movie. It is also easy to connect with the characters as each carries an extensive and unique personality. It also helps communicate that being an individual with super powers does not mean one should use them negatively to destroy other people in the planet. Rather, one should use them for the benefit of everyone.
