‘Wow, impressive.’ Charlotte replied lost in thought. Intelligent, gorgeous, dark blond hair a little messy, tanned skin. Hazel eyes she could get lost in forever. His relaxed jeans hung off his waist, his pale yellow surf tee highlighted his toned athletic physique concealed beneath, irresistible. ‘Are you a surfer?’ ‘Me, no, I don’t like the beach. I dressed with the theme tonight. I’m guessing you love the beach with that gorgeous tan of yours.’ ‘Me? …show more content…
I have this colour all year round,’ she replied feeling self conscious, swept her long shinny black hair behind her shoulder, felt more self conscious. Should have left her hair where it
Eventually, I hear Andrea call from the dining area. “Dinner is ready! And Molly, may I have a word with you?” I’m shocked when I glance at the clock to see that two hours have passed. Talking with Josie came so easily and naturally, like I was catching up with an old friend. I hug Josie goodbye and thank her for her hard work on my newly styled hairdo. To some, it may have just looked like an uneven braid, but to me and Josie, my hair resembled that of a glamorous
The other week I went camping and my friend Bri fell into a lake at Stokes National Forest. Bri screamed “Caroline!” as she flew into the lake!
It was around christmas time and my dad had decide he wanted to take a vacation, so we decided on florida and he wanted to got to Miami and I wanted to go to Sarasota. We invited my sister her boyfriend and they brought my nephew along. We all piled into my sister's car which was on a Nissan maxima so it was a very tight fit. Everyone would drive in three hour intervals and on the second day around noon we would see where we were.
Robbie takes her hand and leads her as the band stepped up to a fast-moving tempo Samba. As Rachel and Alberto make their way back to their table, grab their drinks, begin to talk. As Robbie and Tamara spin and turn, she whispers in his ear, “Can’t wait to get you under the sheets, Lt. Commander.”
It had been one scorching hot summer when the temperatures were record breaking. Everyone was dying for water and air conditioning, people were having heart strokes, getting over heated and being rushed to the hospital. This place was Nashville, Tennessee, where country music is all you hear and they all wear jeans, button down shirts with boots and act the heat is no big deal.
I’ve never really been too fond of the beach in thought, however, when actually there, and experiencing it with my friends, it’s an entirely different story. It was an unexpected call from my one friend Jarec who told me something along the lines of, “Me and Jandro are going to the beach this weekend wanna come?”, to which I replied with a rather uninterested, “yes”, little did I know however, that going to the beach with my friends was going to be a riptide of fun and adventure.
Have you ever dreamed of doing something but never thinking it would happen? Have you ever wanted to do a whole list of things but never had the courage to do it? Have you ever woke up every day feeling like you were living a fantasy? Well I did and here’s my story.
I don’t know how you did it, but within a month you have made me absolutely crazy about you. And it might seem like all these feelings are coming out of the blue but that’s because I have been holding them back because the last thing I want to do is scare you away. Yet I feel like if I don’t share these feelings and thoughts with you I could lose your attention and someone else could win you over, and that is honestly my worst fear at this point. Babe, you’re amazing. The fact that I was able to open up to you about how my dad rejected my coming out and you could calm me down and be there for me was calming. Any time I am stressed and I talk to you, you’re always so supportive and reassuring and I love that more than anything. You’re the type
Aw yes the cool breeze in the air, and the hot sun in the sky. The warm ground I laid on I knew I was in the right place. I walked in the warm water where I saw the beautiful fish swim all around me. All the beautiful shells, and the sounds of birds singing. The way the water sounds I wish I could stay here forever. Then it was time to go. As i walked I turned around and said ‘“I have to come back to this beach again.”
Have you ever been out on the river, when it's storming out with hail, thunder and lighting? I have before it was pretty dangerous. But it was a good experience and I lived. I just ignored all the warning signs out there because it was a hot long day. That experience tells me to check the weather. Tells me to listen to the warning signs that are given out at the time. But was an awesome story to tell and a beautiful sight of the sky in the end.
“Order up!” yells a juvenile male waiter as he seizes a tray of a mysterious drinks. He brings the tray immediately to my table and blurts, “Two large rainbow shakes with blue straws?”
“Oh, look!” squealed Raven, pointing over in a direction of what looked like a hair salon. “There’s a hair dying booth! I think you should get a red streak.” Unsure, I patted down my bob of brown concisiously. Hair dying? I wasn’t sure Dad would appreciate that. Is this what Raven meant by “shopping?” Completely changing my look around just for her? What was I, not good enough for her? ”I dunno,” I said, “I kinda like my hair now...” Raven rolled her eyes and swatted me gently. “Oh, shut up, Elle. Don’t you want to fit in with ME and my pals? Plus, your hair style is soo immature right now. You look like some kind of girl who does charity work and babysits.” I bite one of my nails. “Um. Okay. Yeah, I guess I’ll get one.” I begin shifting around
A little off guard I snickered, “I almost didn’t recognize you without those heels” I said as I looked down at the voice to see the little girl from earlier. For some reason, she was the only thing on the beach that didn’t look grey. There was a vibrancy about her, she had coppery red hair accented with fluffy white barrettes, and under her denim romper she wore a bright white t shirt. There was a faux pearl
A beating drum It's in my lungs I breathe it in, it takes my breath away I don't look back It's just a trap We are all one but we're not the same
The shoreline loomed ominously in the distance. I could faintly make out the gray concrete fortifications that sat on top of the colossal jagged cliff, barely visible through the haze of the early morning fog that enveloped the coast of German-controlled France. I could see the Nazi flag waving slowly with the ever gentle breeze. I looked down at my watch, its hands seeming to move in slow motion. It was 06:30. My company commander ordered our assault craft forward. The boat cut through the waves, not like the blade of a chef’s newly sharpened knife, but more like a small child slapping his hand playfully against the cool water of a local swimming pool.
