Becoming A Lawyer As My Future Career

Out of all the jobs in the world, I have decided that I want to become a lawyer as my future career. I would say that my career was decided based on three main reasons and the first reason is because I have worked in a law firm so I am more familiar with the way things work in Hong Kong and in Toronto in relation with the legal profession. The second reason is because since I have experience from working in law firms, therefore, it would only make sense for me to focus my job search in this profession. Lastly, I feel that economically, being a lawyer generates a stable source of income and is a relatively stable job. For me, working in Hong Kong is more of a back up plan in case I am unable to find jobs in relation with my career choice in Toronto. For these three reasons, I did a lot of research and categorized my research into three main sections in relation with being a lawyer. The first part focuses on the steps I need to take in order to become a lawyer, the second looks at a bit of the history of the development of the legal profession and the third part revolves around career satisfaction, pay, job security, employee benefits, career advancement opportunities, working hours, stress, physical health, mental health and the type of working environment. Whether I am in Toronto or in Hong Kong, they both require time for me to become a lawyer.
