As of now, my educational goals are to graduate with the top of my class, earn my bachelor’s degree in one of the life sciences, and then go on to medical school to pursue a professional degree specialized in radiation oncology. Ultimately, my career goal is to become a radiation oncologist.
My interest in this field began in 2013. In the summer of 2013, my family returned to China for the first time in eleven years. While my parents spent time primarily rekindling old relationships, I was able to exploit their professional connections to further help me realize my passion for medicine. One bright, early morning, although reluctantly, I accompanied my mom on a visit to one of her past apprentices, who is now a radiologist at Nanjing Hospital.
Going off to college, I hope to pursue a major in biology and gain more experience in research labs. I want to explore different genes within various organisms and learn about their intersectional functions. I hope to understand how to enhance or reduce a gene’s expression in order to repress diseases within the human body. After college I will go to medical school and obtain my Doctor of Medicine degree and later pursue a PhD. In the future, I hope to open a research clinic that allows scientists from diverse fields to work together and develop cures for different diseases.
Cleveland Clinic Science Internship Program, Radiology (2016) This is a nine-week, paid internship for rising high school juniors and seniors who attend school in Northeast Ohio. This internship gives students the ability to work with nationally-renowned physicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals. Students are given the opportunities to focus on research, innovation, education, and development of better, more efficient ways to achieve quality in patient care. I had the opportunity to shadow and assist in every specialty of Fairview Hospital’s Radiology Department and completed a research
Advances in both radiography and radiation treatment keep on advancing and get to be more sophisticated. Cases incorporate digital subtraction angiography (DSA) in which, apparently, there is the potential for more prominent inclusion by radiographers and by radiation therapists in image guided radiation treatment. Looking even to the moderately later past underscores the degree to which change is happening in the radiography and radiation treatment work environment. Case in point, ten years prior it was radiologists who embedded cannulas for CT patients (AIR 2014, 1). Presently radiographers and attendants attempt the assignment. In private radiology hones, Australian radiographers now consistently embed central lines and do feature joint, shoulder, arm, and tendon infusions under supervision.
My educational goals are attending a four year university getting a bachelors degree in science with a minor in chemistry. Throughout my time in university I would also like to become a certified Phlebotomist and EKG technician. With obtaining my bachelors in science and minor in chemistry this will be a step towards my final education goal in applying to a master program to become a Physician Assistant. Being able to understand and know health scientific problems has been a lifelong goal of mines helping people to know more about what they can do to prevent or become better has always been my
My number one goal in life is to make a difference. I want to be the reason that people smile and have joy-filled lives. With this, I plan on either being a veterinarian or a chiropractor, which I will be going to Saginaw Valley State University in the fall to pursue. I want to either help animals, or I want to help people in my community by giving them the ability to have bodies free of pain, or at least reduced pain. I am currently looking more into being a chiropractor, because I have a more personal connection to this career, for my dad is disabled with chronic back pain, but seeing a chiropractor has turned his life around and he can now be my loving father again, instead of the depressed, pain-filled father I once had.
My future goal is to graduate from High school and college to become a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. The reason for choosing this career is because I I love working with people and being hands on. I've always wanted to be an Obstetric Sonographer, because I love looking at the images of a fetus and listening to the sound waves and/or heartbeat on an ultrasound. I would love the challenges that my career would give me, as in the discovery of the gender or problems that need to be pointed out. I want to get married, have kids, be adventurous, and focus on my career.
My College and Career goals include graduating college and getting a job. I wish to attend the University of Alabama. I plan to major in occupational therapy or speech therapy. After I graduate with my bachelor's degree I wish to get my master's degree. After I finish my schooling I want to receive a job that allows me to provide for my family. I wish to receive this job in my degree's field. After receiving this job I wish to improve to reach a leadership role.
My future aspirations in this field are two fold. First, I want to be able to work with a Professional team to provide the best patient care under the guidelines of Radiation Therapy. I would like to be part of a team that makes patients feel as comfortable as they can in a both physically and emotionally demanding time. Second, I would like to be involved professionally in research and development once my skill set and experience support that level of professional growth. My ultimate goal is to pursue the certification of Dosimetry, and become a Medical
I have always desired a career that would allow me to improve the lives of those around me while caring for a family of my own. I desire to feel successful through continual learning and challenge. Radiologic Technology will provide me this with ever changing tasks with different circumstances and challenges that require problem solving, critical thinking, and determination. Radiologic Technology will allow me to have interaction on a personal level with patients and their families and provide the opportunity to improve their lives by searching for the things that don’t appear on the
When I graduate for high school I want to go to East Carolina University to become a doctor, because the school is home plus it is one of the best schools that have a medical program, and I can work with babies and young people. I also want to have a small family and get married. I would like to have two kids, one a girl, one a boy or twins. I want to have a better life then what I grew up too plus giving them things that I didn't have. Also be a good role model to my younger brothers. To show them that anything is
Radiology is a career path that can lead to many places other than diagnostic imaging. Once I finish the program for Radiology, I have many aspirations for the future. I intend on completing my bachelors in science and enrolling in courses for CT and MRI certification. My overall goal is to go into Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine in the next five years.
My goal is to finish my degree regardless of any obstacle that comes my way. I plan to complete my degree, find a job in my profession where it be in the state or out of state. My ultimate goal is own my facility and eventually expand my facility to having a major facility and a smaller facility.
My ultimate career goal is to become a physical therapist. I'd love to specialize in gerontology as I enjoy working with the elderly. Primarily, my interest in becoming a physical therapist is driven by my desire to work with those who are disabled or aging in an effort to help them achieve their own specific goals for rehabilitation. Originally I had wanted to become a medical doctor, and although I am still considering it, my experience shadowing a physical therapist was fascinating and I really resonated with what they did throughout the day.
I have many goals in life such as to have a good strong career and family. What is important to me is graduating Central high school and go on to UND. While at UND I plan to get my nursing degree and specialize in pediatrics and truama. I have
As for my career goals, I hope to work in a hospital and use my degree to the best of my ability to help others. My main objective is to commit myself to lifelong learning. The medical field is an ongoing field; the learning never ends just like technology, medicines and new findings never end. Therefore, I have to be fully committed to continue learning even once I have obtained my degree. In addition, I want to
