According to Sports Management Degree Club, agents must go through five years of training Sports Management to even get the job. The very first part that is required is to graduate HIgh School and receive diploma. Going through HighSChool agents should take certain classes like Math, English, Business and Spanish just in case there is a time that foreign language needed to be spoken while on a job of recruiting athletes. There should be a bachelors degree in a field such as sports management or sports business (“How Do I Become”). Attending a four year college is mandatory in this job field because it allows you to gain more knowledge about Sports Agents and will help in the long run. This also can help yourself by receiving a job in the feature when it's time to graduate college and end up receiving the degree in sports management, the degree can help so much because the degree shows the companies that they have someone they can hire that is familiar and have someone they can count on bringing money to the companie. Young athlete’s main goal to attain is to become a professional athlete. Many want to become a professional athlete due to the money, others for the love of the particular sport that they are interested in. There is a downside in becoming a professional athlete, that many young players are not aware of. This downside is that professional athletes’ go broke faster than they are drafted into the leagues.
