One of the most used author's craft is Flashbacks Wiggins incorporates almost one every other chapter. This helps with giving a different perspective of what happened in the first book of the sequel Stung. One very important flashback is in the middle of Cured, This flashback, is when Jacqui goes after kevin, jonas, and Bowen, to warn them about the raiders. She realizes Kevin is the one she was warned about she thinks. “‘Every Time {Jacqui} gave me food, I could see how big of a sacrifice it was for you to part with it. It made me want to know more about you. The day you gave me applesauce, and then started crying because you didn’t want to give it away? That’s the moment I started to fall in love with you. Every Time I saw you after that, I fell in love with you more, until it felt like I was living for the days when I got to see you, and the rest of my life was just spent waiting for those days. His words are still rushed, so rushed I wonder if i’ve him right. I don't have time to ponder what he said because he blurts, ‘And now, I need to kiss you one last time” (Wiggins 201). Kevin after this takes Jacqui’s weapons and unarmed her to knock her out. ornery I can handle it because whatever you throw at me I’ll catch. I like how I know almost a lot about you like we have the same favorite colors but in different colors and your favorite bands and your like apple pie which is disgusting and you must be the devil. I remember when we first met or I at least have memories from when I was around you and our conversations about ourselves and what we’ve fascinated with, those were the little things that made me want you and look now I have you. I fall for you even more when you tell me those three words. You’re always on my mind when I wake up and when I’m in bed laying my head on the pillow. I decided to type this out because I have hella shitty writing and this is more neat and I have more space

Fever, 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson is about how yellow fever spread through Philadelphia and caused many people to die and suffer. These are the themes for Fever 1793. The themes are overcoming hardship, family, and suffering. I say that these are the themes because I have the evidence. I have evidence for family on how Mattie tried to help her sick family. I have evidence for how the second theme is overcoming hardship on how they overcame being sick. Finally I have evidence on how the third theme is suffering because how the sick people suffered.
Eva’s, attention to Kevin while he was incarcerated seem to be more out of her loss not loyalty. Kevin is all she had left of a life that represented what she valued, loved and found some purpose in. It represented Franklin and her love for him and Celia how she was so different from Kevin. Eva, remarked how much Kevin looked like Franklin, even though she resented Kevin resembling Franklin physically.
