Bloody Trail There she was, waiting anxiously and quietly with fear, laid Kathy McGray. She was fourteen and was a straight A student who had never held any grudges against anyone. She was always polite and kind to others. But right now she wondered. Why? Why would anyone want her? She started to think, who at last night’s party was staring or looking at her in quite a different way. The last thing she could remember was, walking outside to get some fresh air, but a snap of a twig, had made her feel suspicious. When she had turned around, she was afraid of what she might see, but that was the opposite of what she felt when she saw Cam Wallace. Cam Wallace was the same age and had a couple classes together, although most of their time spent together was studying or of course being science partners. They would make jokes once in awhile with one another, it was that she just had the gut feeling of not putting him as a suspect. There …show more content…
. . “OUCH!!!” said Kathy as she saw the girl she was to retrieve. “Do you need any help?” said the woman “Yes I do please.” “Here let me take those to your car” “Oh why thank you. So what is your name?” “My name is Sylvia Hansson” “What’s yours?” “Kathy. Kathy McGray” Kathy opened the car and the radio was on. “... her name is Katherine or preferably called Kathy McGray if you see please report to the police or call the number (743) 927-2983” “Hey isn’t that you?” Sylvia said as she was rising up from putting the stuff at the bottom. Then suddenly the man jumped up got her in his arms put a cloth in her mouth so that no one would hear her screams. “Drive!!” . . . “Hey Rose we got a call!” “What did the person say?!” “They say they saw a lady being abducted and that she was helping another young lady just standing there and quickly got in the front and drove off.” “Did they get a license plate number?” “Yes they did and it is 3b338” “So it's a team?” said Dr. Valdez, a very smart, young man who had photographic
I could smell the odor of the pines next to me as I walked through the concrete sidewalk. It was my first time on this campus and I didn’t know what to expect or what to think. I didn’t have any idea of what was coming, but yet, my excitement and adrenaline ran throughout my blood,
Froggy and I made it to the big game. I was nervous to play because I didn’t know if my good luck would continue or if it would end. As I was sitting on the bench I heard my coach call my name.
It was late one day in June, and the sky was as blue and clear as sparkling wine. I sat back in my hammock reading the book Unbroken enjoying myself, and my uncle came up and asked me if I wanted to play poker with him, 5$ buy in. I jumped at the idea finished my page and went inside the house. Poker is a pretty big thing in my family and I’ve grown up playing and my uncle was one of the best, so spending time with him playing poker is always one of my favorite things to do. We proceed to set up the table, “Texas Holdem“ he says, Jacks to open”. Nothing weird, so we get the game going and the pots getting pretty big when all of the sudden he drops his cards. I stare the cards dead in the eye and see that i'm going to surpass him! He looks
The next morning, the woman’s car is found on the side of the road in a ditch by a passing driver. He pulls over to investigate, and the woman is found dead and stabbed multiple times. It was a gruesome site. The police are called in and they decide to investigate by asking the locals if they knew anything. When the gas attendant was interviewed, he claimed that he heard about an escaped serial killer on the radio and said that he saw the killer in the backseat of her car crouching down. When he told the woman to come inside he was really trying to warn her that the killer was in the backseat of the car without alerting him.
I told both that I had seen them on CCTV footage walking into and out of the YMCA and then walking to the Dodge Charger, entering it and leaving the parking lot. I asked Jalen if that sounded right, he nodded his head. Jalen would later admit that he and Marlon went to the YMCA, signed the guest information sheet using Marlon’s brother’s name of Adonte Burnell, and going into lockers taking the keys and then taking the Dodge Charger. Jalen said he did not drive the Charger, but Marlon did.
The Book, My Bloody Life, the Making of a Latin King by Reymundo Sanchez is sad, horrifying and eye opening. Consequently, it makes a person think about the role of society and the social reasons or theories that can explain involvement in gangs or gang activity. I think there may be several theories used to explain involvement in gangs, but I think the best theory used to explain why there are gangs is the “control or social bond theory”. Sanchez illustrates several instances of this theory throughout his book. I will discuss some of these instances and show how they are an example of control/social bond theory.
I, Deputy Grant told dispatch to get in contact with the Billie Joe Anderson from Casey General Store and get more information. I told them to find out the unknown woman 's name, (if known) what she was driving, whom she was with, and what she was wearing, as well as any other information the cshe could remember.
Often times war is depicted in a victorious, triumphant manner when in reality war is chaotic; full of destruction and death. In Stephen Crane’s “A Mystery of Heroism” and Ambrose Bierce’s “An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge,” we witness the harsh reality of the war and the common human reaction to the havoc. Fred Collins simply wants water, but the well is on the other side of the battlefield. Peyton Farquhar, a loyal civilian to the South, just wanted to help in the war but instead was hanged for his good-intentioned attempt to destroy the bridge to help the Confederates. Ambrose Bierce and Stephen Crane wrote “An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge” and “A Mystery of Heroism” to show the natural human condition in adverse situations.
On April 4, 2017 at approximately 2:32 A.M. I, Deputy Hill was informed by dispatch of a possible over dose at the Trails Inn Motel.
We snuck in quietly, and I tensed when I saw Cristy Pines waiting on the counters. She looked like she just got in a fight with a bear with her messy hair and dark stains on her clothes. I wondered what they were and tried to get closer, but then I saw something that made me stop right in the middle of my tracks. Diary, you are probably wondering what it was because I have told you so much already, so I will now explain what I saw and what I did after I saw it.
¨After a few more quick glimpses, she picked up her pace and was soon running in earnest. Within seconds she disappeared into a cross street?¨(paragraph 1) Our writer has made someone so scared that this was her reaction. He knew instantly that moving to New York was going to be a lot more different, than his small town where he was raised.
While being placed in handcuffs the driver began advising her was scared and did not know what to do.
The cops were very coherent when describing when giving the address to Shelly. But in a minute had Shelly already reached at the scene of the accident. Shelly then identifies the body. In the moment, Shelly laid on the floor weeping saying “what could I have
“Hi!” I said, answering the phone. “Everything okay?” I heard the fake-good cheer in my voice, trying hard to cover up the fact that I knew that everything would not be okay if Krista had any idea what I was in the middle of doing.
Because Kathy had the privilege of choosing who she would like to care for, she was able to reconnect with her past classmates and friends from
