Psychiatry is the study of medicating those who are declared as being mentally ill or behaviorally abnormal and correcting their brains via medicine. There is an unscientific assumption that “abnormal” behaviors, are caused by “chemical imbalances” in the brain. No sufficient studies have ever been conducted scientifically to conclude the relation between abnormal behavior and an imbalance in brain chemistry. To diagnose an individual, a doctor neither needs a blood test nor a brain scan. Brian disorders are defined by their symptoms not their root cause.
