Inside the records archive, Phillip found at the end of a short, but occupied row, that there was still one empty workstation where he could begin to gather up his data needed for his report. After accessing the archive’s computer terminal via the small monitor fastened to the back wall of the workstation, Phillip typed in his notepad computer’s IP address so the two systems could be linked together. World War I and World War II, images and the complete history of global conflict during that time period began to unfold in holograms before Phillip’s vision. Glued to the events, he studied the destruction and desolation and the immense strife created from the crises, trying to come to grips with mankind’s utter madness. Then, he witness the depravity of civil wars, the loss of culture and heritage, resources, families, and life. Phillip was shocked and aghast over the images of the vast magnitude of butchery and sheer savagery people bestowed upon each other before the volunteers’ arrival. After witnessing all that he could handle, Phillip moved on to a topic of history that he had recently become very curious about, disease and sickness. The grotesqueness that many of the world’s diseases brought on the meek made Phillip nauseated to look at, and the sick and dying with their piteous suffering was almost too much to look at in vivid 3D. How could people have let this happen? he wondered as the records informed him of much of what he was witnessing had been preventable by modern standards of medicine at the time of the recording. The suffering, the anguish, the torment of the ill was tough to take in, it was recondite. Even tougher were the images of the starving. Their emaciated bellies ruptured, the sheer hopelessness in their eyes as they were left to die. Phillip had had enough, he needed to take a break from it all. “Records, take me
