I really enjoyed my visit to Buffalo Wild Wings the other day. I'm a huge sports fan and I really enjoyed that they had tons of televisions and an assortment of different games playing on all of them. My girlfriend is not a huge sports fan, but I know she enjoyed the trip as well. As for their wings, I love that they have so many flavors to choose, Ranging from Not spicy to insanely spicy! I tried the hottest wing there, the blazing wing and my mouth was practically on fire. My favorite flavor of wing was a tie between Honey Barbeque and Parmesan Garlic. The wings were reasonably saucy, it past visits we would have to get more sauce but not this time. All in all, I thought the wings were delicious My girlfriend had the ribs and wing, with
Have you ever met someone who hates Chick-Fil-A? Probably not, right? Chick-Fil-A’s success in this area is all thanks to it’s founder, Truett Cathy. In his autobiography, Eat Mor Chikin® Inspire More People, Cathy explains how he came from humble beginnings, but rose up to create millions and billions of dollars in the fast food industry. His business ideas are all fairly simple, but revolutionary. Values he has put in place have built the company up to be extraordinary. This book was entertaining: he described the precedent that CFA would only hire people who deserved the job and could do it well, how he ensured that the company was privately owned so the owners would care about it as much as he did, and how he ensured his company would give back to the community and to God the blessings they have received. I think this is a great book for anyone, especially for someone who adores Chick-Fil-A like me!
Family owned and operated: Whataburger began in 1950 when Harmon Dobson opened a tiny burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas. From day one, he believed that valuing his employees would ensure the success of the company. They are still family-owned and operated and everyone who works at Whataburger is considered a Family Member. Family-owned businesses are central to the American economy. Approximately 90 percent of American businesses are family-owned or controlled, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Leaders of family owned and operated businesses have a daunting task in trying to be successful now while positioning their organizations for continued growth. Customers seemingly want things faster and cheaper than ever before. New technologies offer great promises but come with much risk if you are on the bleeding edge. Processing all of this can be overwhelming. Business leaders need to see what’s coming down the
For once me and family were all available that day to see each other and we went there to eat and honestly it could've been better, We have been there plenty of times before and normally the food is good but that day it was a little off . I have my go to foods every Time I go there and one of those things are spicy garlic shrimp and that day the shrimp was way overcooked and mushy. I was so disappointed because that is one
I have certainly not heard anyone say anything cynical about Chick-fil-A’s customer service. Seemingly, the workers are constantly in an upbeat and serving mood. Occasionally, I would joke and exclaim “Chick-fil-A employees treat me better than my own family,” just to emphasize how courteous the employees are. Optimistically managing customer relationships is the essence of a successful organization and Chick-fil-A has proven that to be true, coupled with grade A customer service. In a world where it is rare to receive exceptionally mannered and courteous customer service from fast food restaurants, Chick-fil-A is in a category of its own excelling past customers expectations. According to Fast Company, at the end of each transaction at Chick-fil-A,
Nearly 50 billion cheeseburgers/burgers are eaten per year, which means on average an American eats three burgers a week. My favorite meal would have to be a homemade cheeseburger with mash potatoes, fruit (strawberries and honeydew), and to top things off a fresh glass of sweet tea. All foods have their healthy and non-healthy factors but do you really know how your food is really affecting your body?
Panera Bread began in 1981 as Au Bon Pain Co., a fast-casual bakery and café chain, founded by Louis Kane and Ron Shaich. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the chain grew along the east cost of the United States and internationally. It dominated in the bakery-café category. In 1993, Au Bon Pain Co. purchased Saint Louis Bread Company, which was founded by Kenneth Rosenthal. At this time, the Saint Louis Bread Company was in the midst of renovating its 20 bakery-cafes in the Saint Louis area. The concept’s name was ultimately changed to Panera Bread.
Valerie I agree that it is wise to have faith in God even from a business standpoint. It is often hard in today’s society though to put God first in the decision making. I remember back in 2012 when Chick-fil-A was going through a hard time because one of the chief operating officers (Dan Cathy) made a remark about opposing same-sex marriage. He has his right to state an opinion but having friends that are lesbian and gay I had to side with my friends. The remarks seemed to come from a place of hate and he offended so many people by his statement. I do believe that Christians should not hide their beliefs but sometimes in a business setting one person who states an opinion could wreck the business and ultimately leave a Christian owned company
Golden Corral is probably one of my favorite buffet’s because the food is pretty good and it isn’t really expensive. In the summertime my grandpa took my brother and I there almost once a week. He likes it because he knows a lot of people there, senior citizens get good discounts, and because it isn’t far away. To be honest I’m not really a big fan of buffet’s, because people can be very nasty and everyone has to touch the same things.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding why organizations fail and spirituality in the workplace. While many organizations make the claim that God is a stakeholder, these words are of non-effect unless the leader first partakes in whatever is necessary to ensure the followers share the vision and are led by example.
Early one November morning a woman stared at me with utter disbelief, tears of gratitude streaming down her cheeks."Thank you," she mouthed silently to me, clutching her son to her chest. I was proud knowing that, because of my efforts, her family and many more who struggle with poverty would be able to share a Thanksgiving meal. I knew that many children in my community would not be able to celebrate the holiday as others might because their parents could not afford to buy food items, and so as Vice President of a community service club called Interact, I was inspired to provide these children with a Thanksgiving dinner. The club officers and I sat crowded around our adviser's desk brainstorming how we would collect ingredients. We decided

Thank you for your service! I admire your commitment to work full time and take college classes. I am a military brat and spent many years living on post. I have experienced not having a vehicle and walking to the exchange for both lunch and dinner. I also ate at the DFAC for many Thanksgiving Day dinners. Good luck this semester!
Chick-Fil-A is a fast food restaurant that I love it got wide variety of foods including breakfast in the mornings, grilled chicken, and more healthier options. The drinks always have free refills It also is very child friendly has most restaurants where they even have a play land for the kids and have kids meals. The restaurant is always clean inside and the wait for all foods are less than 15-20 minutes. The employees look very clean they always have ironed clothes and is always wearing their full uniform. When I went to order I ordered a regular chicken sandwich meal with fries and a milk shake. The person who take my ordered smiled and was very polite, I have had always good service at Chick-Fil-A. When I got my food

After researching about fast food and understanding how the huge industry works. I can conclude that the effects of eating fast food on a day to day basis are
