I think it is a very important program for youth. In a world of mindless video games and fast food, causing obesity a fitness-oriented program is an amazing program. It helps get youth involved in the community and helps the elderly and veterans It teaches youth important life skills such as public speaking, responsibility, maturity, discipline, time management, people management, teamwork, communication, healthy lifestyles as well as offers benefits no other program in Canada can or will The program offers gliding, traveling all over the world and Canada, free membership and valuable life skills It offers the chance to get pilot’s license and gliders licenses It also teach youth dress and deportment, which is a very valuable life skill especially in a world of "swag". It is also a relaxed cultural stance on morals and the deportment of oneself. It is essential to maintain the necessities of staying mature and responsible looking while being in the public eye and will help later on in life when applying for jobs. The skills they teach are transferable to every aspect of your life and the people you meet and friendships you make will last a

South African war (Boer war.) “The South African War (1899-1902) or, as it is also known, the Boer War, marked Canada's First official dispatch of troops to an overseas war. In 1899, fighting erupted between Great Britain and two small republics in South Africa.” MILLER, C., & FOOT, R. (2015, November 12). South African War. The Confederation took place in 1867, and the Canadian Expeditionary Force(CEF) was raised in 1914. The CEF is what protects what the Confederation created, and would not the nation’s greatest achievement be protecting that which the nation created. “Canada did not enter the war of its own accord but was automatically at war when Britain declared war against Germany.” Canada entered the war to stand by its mother country, to protect the country who founded it. The Canadian Corps and CEF were created to defend Canada, and fought not only in the war but for the recognition that Canada deserved, to then show that in the Great War we achieved something great, and finally to piece together to how Canada is now, to build through the years and show that this was truly Canada’s greatest achievement.
Through over 1,150 hours spent searching through archives, military, governmental and community, a sergeant in the Canadian military with the name George Ralph McKenzie has not been found. The evidence regarding McKenzie’s personal involvement in the Canadian military has solely been gleaned from 7 photographs. The rest of the information is possible or probable. From what I could visually identify from the photos was that McKenzie was a sergeant in the military, due to the stripes on his arm badge in photographs 5 and 7, during World War II. He was stationed in the Cultus Lake area of B.C., with his family, in 1941. One of the badges on his arm in photograph 7 seems to resemble the Royal Canadian Engineer’s bomb badge, though, his specific

On July 1, 1891, congress established the U.S. Army Signal Corps (Layman and Mooney, 1944, p. 2). Understanding the use of balloons in prior wars, the Chief of the Signal Corps felt aviation was an activity that should fall in his corps realm and he petitioned for congressional concurrence. The only issue was congress would make no such acknowledgement. As early as 1892, the Signal Corps began purchasing balloons (Fredriksen, 2011, p. 1). BG Gully and his successor as the Chief of the Signal Corps, BG Allen, kept providing reports on the significance of aviation operations to the military. Initially the gentlemen envisioned a means to communicate being greatly enhanced. Two inventions at the turn of the century would contribute to these beliefs but also make it hard for them to plead their case. With telegraphy and airplanes both being invented,

Youth sports are good for younger people because it can help them grow older to be active in stay in shape as older people. ”Youth sports are popular, in part, because they benefit young people in many ways.
As kids grow up you will notice that their parents are not quite sure what kind of sport they want to sign them up for, so they enroll them in all of them hoping that their child will find a sport that they will continue throughout their life. Kids usually range in sports such as basketball, football, baseball, softball, soccer, dance, and gymnastics. With every youth sport organization comes the negatives and the positives. The negative aspects are that parents can be hard on their children, and receiving a participation trophy or ribbon even though they lost. The positives being that they can begin healthy lifestyles by participating in youth sports. Physically they get the required exercise they need, and will eventually continue that throughout their life. Emotionally, they leave youth sports will a sense of accomplishment, and being seen by college coaches to help boost their self-esteem.
What are the youth of today doing if they are not involved in some type of youth sports program? Most likely getting themselves involved in alcohol, drugs, tobacco, crimes and becoming obese. By not providing youth sports for the community, the youth miss that opportunity to build strong interpersonal skills needed for their future success. Youth that venture down the road of drugs, tobacco, alcohol and crime face a life of devastation and constant turmoil possibly even jail time. If the younger generation of this nation become obese at an early age, they will surely face a rough road of health issues in the future. As responsible adults, the parents need to step up and address the issue of teen involvement in these bad extracurricular
Everyone grows up with youth sports in life, It's something that keeps kids in shape, have fun and out of trouble. It is something that kids look forward to doing whether it's a football game , baseball game, hockey game, etc. Every kid wakes up excited that they have a game that day.
From what I’ve read, the CBYX program not only gives youth like myself the opportunity to learn about a foreign country, it is also helps us develop knowledge and skills that can be used for the rest of our lives – skills that will help us grow into compassionate, productive, successful adults who contribute to making the world a better place.
“Physical education hopes to accomplish, to engage all students, not just the athlete elite, in fun activities that will instill a lifelong commitment to fitness.” (Johnson, 264). Physical education in the classroom can be a vital steeping stone to the way that teenagers think about fitness. Lifelong fitness is something that everyone should be guaranteed, it mainly depends on the experience that a teenager has. Like many other subjects in school, the
