Introduction:
In the future, I have many goals that I desire to accomplish. Im hoping to find a job that fits me best from the career cluster survey. From this survey I'm also hoping to learn a little more about myself and gain some knowledge that will help me in the future. To conclude my overall wants, I desire to do well on this project and get an excellent grade.
Survey Results:
To start this project, I started by doing two surveys. My career cluster survey showed me that from what I chose, being an architect or anyone in the outlines of that career was what scored highest on my survey. The basic skills survey showed my strongest suit was being a listener. These surveys were important to me because they showed me what type of person I would be in a job and what attributes fit me best doing a job. I took this survey to find out these things, like being a person who is a great listener, an active learner, and having great learning strategies. My weaknesses

All of the colleges cfnc suggested for me were Appalachian State University, East Carolina University, High Point University, Meredith College, Queens University of Charlotte, and Western Carolina University. The college I think that is best for me is East Carolina University. The reason why I say this is because this college is affordable, and it's a good proximity from home.
The program I would choose to take is to study abroad for interior design. This can allow me to learn and see all around the world. Also you can find new interests and meet new friends. Overall this program seems the most interesting to me.
For the payment of college it's a great idea to get your child started off with a college fund. Thankfully my parents were able to start up a college fund for me. My parents love that they started a college fund and they think it's a great idea. They would 10/10 recommend this to
Through reading worksheets on countless types of skills and doing activities, I was able to make decisions on which skills well defined me. For personal skills, I believe I am extremely discipline, and for that aptitude, people are easily able to trust and can depend on me. I contemplate before I act or behave in a certain way. I stay focused and can make myself stay doing a task even if something more interesting comes along due to priorities. For instance, when I do my homework, as much I want to relax and watch TV, I know I have to finish my work because it has great importance. I tend to stay focused and disciplined by setting goals on things I have to get completed, and once I accomplish the goal I treat myself with free time to do something entertaining. Another skill, I developed throughout my life so far is woodworking/carpentry, which is a technical skill. I have recently just learned this skill at a program called Girls Can Too, where many girls and I were on a process to build a boardwalk and a personal garden box. When building the boardwalk I learned how to use a variety of power tools, such as a drill or circular saw, and obtain the technical skills required by the trade industry. Similarly, building the garden box I completed various workshops and training sessions related to the design /construction of the box. Skills can become very useful and significant in
My career clusters was performing arts and I chose the career named, Music Director/Composer. Directors lead orchestras, choirs, groups, and bands while composers make music or arrange other piece in a variety of music styles. Directors ensure that the musicians play with one concert sound, balancing the melody, tuning, rhythm, and dynamic. They give feedback to the musicians or section leaders so that they can achieve the sound and style they want in the music. The work environment for directors work in religious organizations, and schools with music programs. They also spend a lot of time traveling around to and places. Composers work in offices, recording studios, or their own home. Similar occupations of this career are actors, dancer and choreographers, high, middle, and elementary school teachers, musicians and singers, producers and directors, and writers and authors. The job outlook is growing by 3% which is
Thus, I seek to pursue a course in line with such future prospects as a professional. I want to have a career in the business world in regards to technology in the business field. I also seek to travel the world and work or live in different cities and engage with different people to get different perspectives about life as I develop as a person, as a professional, and as a family person with my own family.
Child Savings Accounts: It’s a long term strategy. It means saving money for children to make them able to join a college in the future without depending on borrowing. Now, at least 7 states have passed legislations or started to offer child savings accounts for children born in the state or registered in a kindergarten in the state. Students from low or moderate income households with a savings account for college of just $500 are three times more likely to join college in the future and four times more likely to graduate from college than a similar students without savings account.
My career cluster is Eligibility Interviewers and Government. What they all have in common is about law, math, and science. They deal with customer service, administrative service, algebra, and law and government. They have to communicate by speaking. They also have to listen to people’s problems and try to solve them.
Based on my survey results I have learned that I want to have a career where I work with technology. The survey was important because it pointed out the direction that I am headed in. It also tells me that some of my strengths are working with technology involving math and science. It also points out to me some of my weaknesses that I need to work on like interpreting, reading, and following directions and figuring out what the directions are asking for. The top career that the survey picked for me was Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In this career, I would be planning and managing scientific research. The second career choice that the survey picked for me was Information Technology. In this career, I would be designing and developing softwares and hardware. I agree with the results of the survey because even though I have several strengths I still have things I could get better at. I also agree with the survey because the top careers that the survey picked for me were the career clusters that I thought I would get in the beginning.
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is definitely the school for me, and I would be a great candidate for the school with the help from Granville Early College High School and everything they have done to prepare me for the college life. The acceptance call I got from Granville Early College High School my 8th grade summer, is a memorable day. My mind was everywhere because I was so excited and so nervous to make that choice in whether I was going or not, with the motivation of family I made the right decision. This was an meaningful event, experience and accomplishment all wrapped into one. It impacts my college experience because I get to have a taste of the college life, it prepares me to be a good student in the University of

The first career that I chose was registered nurse. The Holland Interest Code for registered nurse was SIC. I believe that S, which stands for Social or Helpers, does fit me to some extent, as I enjoy helping others but I do not enjoy being social very much. Next is I, which stands for Investigative or Thinkers. I believe that this category fits me well, as I often am curious and look into subject that I don’t know about, and I do enjoy a good challenge or too. Last is C, which stands for Conventional or Organizers. I think this is the category that fits me the best, as I enjoy organizing things and strictly following rules. Now, onto the 5 most important skills. These skills were, as listed in order from most important to least, social perceptiveness,
Survey Results- In this project I was asked to take two surveys. They were very important because they showed me things about myself that I didn’t even know! The first survey I took was a Career Cluster Survey and in this survey, I was asked about my interest, it also asked me some personal qualities and my favorite school subjects, and I enjoyed taking the survey. After I finished my survey and got my results, I was immensely

Parents and their young children would have to set up a college fund in order to have enough to pay for college with cash. They would have to start way before their student becomes old enough to attend college. Honestly parents of young children do not practically think about saving for college that early. Student may work to try and save money towards their
The college I have chosen to go to is Concord University, located in Athens, West Virginia. The first reason why I chose this college is because they are very inexpensive. The second reason is although it is 700 miles away to me it’s still close to home if I want to drive home or fly. They also have available tuition that would fit my budget, which is $28,883 a year. They even have my major which I want to study, pre-veterinary, I have always wanted to be a vet ever since I saw dogs, and once I saw how much help they needed I had to set my goal as becoming a vet.
