The author goes over how when in college any thing before noon is just horrible. Then addresses how his days in the factory are early and long. "For a student like me who considers any class before noon to be uncivilized, getting to a factory by 6 o'clock each morning, where rows of hulking, spark-showering machines have replaced the lush campus and cavernous lecture halls of college life, is torture." (Braaksma 1) With school you don't have to worry about class starting at 6 am and running tell 6 pm with very little breaks in-between. I agree fully with this most students classes start at 8 am and are usually over by 4 pm. additionally most students can just miss a class with out any real consequences as long as they get their homework from some one else. Nevertheless in school if you mess up on an assignment most teachers will let you redo it with little impact to you. Subsequently you do that same thing in a factory you might be out of a

After checking all our answers, Mrs. Way proceeded to say, “We can retire our Finish Line books till Monday.” This was a pleasant surprise. Following the Plinker activity, we logged into our Study Island accounts. Seeing the home screen of Study Island brought back many
Abigail Jay stood in front of the school on the rain drenched steps, rocking on her heels. She was waiting for Jimmy, her uncle to close the shop for ten minutes to come and get. Most of the other students had already left from the campus once the last bell rang, they booked it. Abigail was use to waiting for Jimmy, it wasn’t uncommon for him to be late and if anything she’d be worried if he was on time. Abigail tangled with the pull strings of her hoodie, an excited smile on her face.
Mrs. Wansong has established a morning routine with her students. Every morning she picks up the kids at the gym, walks them up to the classroom. She sets 10 minutes for their morning routine. All of the students nearly jump out of their skin and run as fast as lightning out of the door. All except two, Mckenna and Annie. Mckenna hesitates and lazily wakes up from sleep. The foul mixture of smog, anxiety and crisp night air pressed down on Maria as she trudged down the hill, trailing a few feet behind her twin sister at all times. Strange Taiwanese animals howled and whimpered in the distance. She took a deep breath and distracted herself the only way she knew how. Ninety six days and four hours since we saw Father. Four days until we graduate from the academy. One week until we go into orbit. Eight days until we see his face again. Maria scolded herself for enrolling in the first place. It had looked so enticing – posters and banners hung all around the city. Two men barged into their classroom and spoke gruffly of the advances people like them could make, had already made. People spoke in low whispers about the free education and opportunities it provided for those 500 successful applicants.
A few weeks earlier, John M. Case, board chairman, president, and sole owner of the

The final bell rang, and students erupted in a joyful chorus of cheers as summer break began. I sang a melancholy dirge of self-pity. My bitterness increased as I waited for my mother to pick me up. She came at last and I jumped up, anxious to leave forever. Again, Mrs. Thomas thwarted my plans; she came outside to talk to my mother, undoubtedly about my ignominious fate. As they murmured, I viewed the co-conspirators with hostile eyes. I'm a victim, the final sigh of my fifth grade year whispered wearily.
In working in the customer service industry a worker would have to adapt to the different cultures and communication for the customers (Van Hook, 2013). The main goal is to have a satisfied customer as a result of the communication. The biggest error that you might make is trying to apply your own cultural beliefs without modification to the customer. The would most certainly lead to frustrated efforts, conflict, bad service and ultimately loss of a customer for the business. The customer service worker has to have the ability to read the customers and make the alterations to satisfy the customer.
