Texas economy throughout the ages has become quite famous for its ever changing basis. When Texas was just a young state it did not have the economy that other states at the time possessed but it did have potential which was picked up on starting out with the livestock and cattle economy, Texas went through a rapid expansion and quickly caught up with its statehood brethren. As time carried on so did the cattle of Texas with farming and production of cotton which sparked another economic shift for Texas, which caused demand to spike when other state could not produce enough cotton, Texas became popular with its cotton production. As time passed and a civil war on the brink Texas started to produce lumber for nearby towns and few other states.

In this assignment, we will focus our attention on the some of the positive and negative monetary impacts associated with the project in the final case study by answering the following questions. First what might be some of the expenses associated with solving the selected project’s public-health issue to include possible labor, infrastructure, advertising, transportation, and building material? Secondly what could be some possible economic ramifications if a solution is not found to the pubic-health issue? Finally what are the economic benefits, and to whom, of finding solutions to the public health issue?

LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) plants are a danger to the environment and should be prohibited from being built in or near the Port of Brownsville. LNG companies all over the nation want to build LNG plants in the Port of Brownsville for the convenience of a closer location to the Panama Canal in order to ship to China and save money by occupying cheap land (Robledo). If LNG plants were to be built near South Texas, local environments will be destroyed and tourism will decrease significantly.

Texas is a second largest state in the United states of America. Being a Texan I am seeing lot of activities going on here for long time.
