Texas LNG will provide jobs majorly to locals since the beginning of construction of the plant. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of September 2015, the unemployment rate in Brownsville, Texas is 6.6. Brownsville lacks in skilled workers since most of the educated people from Brownsville migrate to other cities for better opportunities in jobs.
