Wilmington University offers a variety of campus organizations and clubs for students. If I were to participate in campus organizations and clubs, I would join photography club and Bridging the Gap.
I have always been passionate about photography. When you take a picture, you are capturing a memory forever. I always take pictures, even if I am just in my backyard. Photography club would be a great way for me to learn the aspects of photography, as well as meet students who love photography. My major is communication-media, so photography club would benefit my professional and personal life.
Bridging the Gap is a great program that helps students with mental wellness, stress management, balancing work, balancing family life, and balancing
The most meaningful club/activity that I have participated in during high school has definitely been DECA; which is an international
I have the answers to question # 2 and 3 for Collin College. Please see below and let me know if you have any questions or need any additional supporting documentation or information.
After going on the PSU Abington website and looking at the variety of organizations/clubs available, I am truly astounded at the amount of options available for students to join seeing as this is only my second semester at PSU Abington. When looking though the groups on the PSU Abington website, there was one group that stood out to me more than other groups which is the organization called SHE CLUB. I use the word astounded due to the fact that I wasn’t expecting to see that kind of forward-thinking organization that is provided at PSU Abington but I couldn’t be happier that the organization exists. In addition, for some reason I did not expect PSU Abington to have such a vast amount of student organization due to the overall size of the campus but this has made me feel more comfortable and welcomed as a student now at PSU Abington. As a result, I am most defiantly going to start getting more into PSU Abington student organizations now.
I am involved in two clubs at Hopkins High School. I am proud to say that I'm part of the We Serve HHS and HHS Responds clubs. We Serve HHS focuses on serving the community through volunteer. We organized the food drive that recently occurred in October to donate to ICA. Currently, we are looking into collaborating with Mr. Allan Law to provide food for homeless people in the Minneapolis area. HHS Responds is a representation of the diversity in our school. It encourages and promotes diversity in Hopkins. That club brought the gender neutral bathrooms into our school and we are currently working on celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. We have discussions regarding politics, race, religion, gender, and many other current topics that affect students
During freshman year of high school, I was one of those kids that would be involved in every clubs/organizations. I was part of the Environmental club, UN model, National Honor Society, History League, Community Service Club, Math Club, and others. My favorite organization was UN model. With that organization I learned about many different countries that I would never thought I would be interested.
clubs, such as diversity. Also I would be interested in maybe becoming part of the student
One of the main reasons of why I want to join the year book committee is because of Photography. I always wanted to join the photography club but our school never had one. I was never able to join the cheerleading
Each club has exposed me to issues involving my own community such as recycling, diabetes, childhood cancer and more. They led me to become more engaged in trying to fix the problems affecting my community and school’s student body while remaining sensitive to the individuals that it would affect. By teaching me sensitivity towards these issues and becoming more involved, these clubs help prepare me for work in an industry such as computer science, that has far reaching effects which require consideration before any decisions can
We, the Green Life Committee proposes to launch and manage a community garden for the University of Delaware. The idea to create a community garden on campus was introduced based on conversations within students and faculty members. Both the faculty and students expressed concerns about the amount of healthy and fresh foods presented on campus. The intended purpose is to first economically educate students about food production and land use. As well as encouraging student awareness of what they are eating and where it comes from. We want students to become conscientious of sustainable and practical land use.

with your community as a whole. I have been a part of the science club, art club, drama
As an incoming Junior, I perceived a need for a club that extended beyond a superficial clique of students gathering to foster their own entertainment. It became my aspiration to establish an enduring and meaningful organization that would produce graduates and a situation which improve our world. To make this idea a reality, I founded a service oriented club called Artisan's Aim. The purpose of the club is to encourage and organize students’ creative, material-based talents to meet community outreach needs. The club represents time spent organizing within the school bylaws, obtaining funding for projects, finding members and officers for the club, teaching the members to craft projects, and delivering the projects to those in need. Artisan’s
Started in 2006, the club hopes to gather students who aren’t necessarily art majors, but who share the common interest of art, together to collaborate and grow artistically.
Southern University A&M College welcomed Dr. J.S. Clark as the new African American leader and president in 1914 after the big move. As Dr. Clark as president, he made numerous improvements on campus and off campus. He established a Junior College, teacher-training curriculum, Agricultural Extension Program, a summer normal school, six brick buildings for instructional activities, five brick dormitories, and eleven wooden structures for the faculties. Before his retirement came, he funded money from the government to build a library, a football stadium, an administration building, a gymnasium, and additional dormitories. During this time period, Felton G. Clark, J.S. Clark only son, was one of Southern’s most promising
If I would only be able to continue participating in one of my activities, I would choose SADD, or the club of Students Against Destructive Decisions. SADD encourages students to make better, healthier decisions when faced with opportunities for destructive behavior, like drugs, drinking and driving, etc, by providing fun, safe, stress free environments and activities. In life and especially at college, there are so many opportunities for students to make the wrong choice. I am happy to be a part of something that gives students the support we often need when faced with tempting situations. As Co-President, I am pleased to say SADD is one of the largest clubs at Elkhorn South High School. In college, I want to continue supporting my fellow
