There were many contributing factors that lead to the outbreak of the American Revolution through the years 1756-1763. Most of the impactful factors of the war dealt with the british desire to control the 13 colonies besides the colonies attempts to liberate themselves from the restrictions implemented upon them. Some of the factors were the restrictions and taxations of the british government, growing american identity, geography, rejection of the olive branch petition, the article Common Sense, the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, the Intolerable Acts, and the accidental blood shed. The political and economic situation of America played a Major role in the revolution. All the major events that pushed America to revolutionize dealt with a complication of either political or economic situations with the British. The major reasons of the revolution was the lack of appropriate political representation and the economic restrictions they were burdened with. The restrictions and taxations of the british government caused the Americans to start considering their independence to be freed of the three main taxes implemented:sugar, quartering and stamp tax. The Americans felt that they were not appropriately represented in England as they did not appoint their representatives, meaning they did not consent to be taxed.
