When it comes to comedy there are many great comedians. The Original Kings of Comedy is a group of four comedy legends that we can always count on for laughter and fun. The Tenessee State Marching Band hypes the crowd up and brings excitement to the auditorium. Not long after, Cedric joins the band and dances along with them with great moves such as a dab and an attempt to do a split on stage to finish.
With an excited crowd he acknowledges his Nashville audience and asks them to sit down and we immediately enter the realm of Cedric's jokes with his charisma and his down to earth personality. Cedric begins his routine with speaking of how he's the last "brother" to lose weight in Hollywood and the fashion choices of the young folk in today's generation.
Cedric then continues on about the music of today and how different music is now. He brings up Rihanna and Beyonce and how their music is extremely influential to his children. Cedric also discusses how entitled his children think they are to his money and time. He shares a few examples about this and begins with an example of how his daughter wanted a new Camaro even though she's not the best student.
He also shares a story about how his son sat his date in the back of Cedric's car waiting for Cedric to take them to their date location. Cedric just couldn't believe his son thought he was going to drive them around as if he was an Uber

He discusses awkward situations in his life and how different his generation is from the generation of today. With Cedric, you know you will laugh and receive entertainment that's worth your time because Cedric knows what he's doing. The stage is his comfort zone.
In Live from the Ville, his performance goes from joke to joke as if he has many stories to tell like catching up with an old friend. The jokes don't necessarily connect to each other almost duplicating how conversations today can go from A to Z when talking about recent events in our lives.
Cedric's performance ends with a light note with black jokes and how he would react in different situations such as zoo animals leaving their cages and running loose on the streets, his opinions on why a woman was possibly kicked by a giraffe, and how as a black person at a company picnic, he finds himself trying to avoid eating chicken and watermelon to avoid meeting stereotypes but he can't help himself to sneak chicken and watermelon
“The struggle of the funny performer has remained a symbiosis of drive, jealousy, heartbreak, and triumph-- existing then as it exists now. Perhaps the only other constant is comedy’s unfailing popularity”
Kevin Hart’s experience would later prove has a source for his comic genius. “The jokes come from real
The reason I say that everything involves around Cedric because of his poor hygiene/ solid clothing, stealing school supplies, juice money from other classmates, notes getting sent home and rash behind his neck. Cedric mother explained that her washing machine is broke, she don’t know how to use laundromat that’s why Cedric don’t have no clean clothes. The rash was also brought to the mother attention and Mrs. Dobson told social worker she thought it came from spring grasses. The reason why Mrs. Dobson was not responding to the notes because Cedric mother feels like school
In the article “Will the Real Chris Rock Please Stand Up Sam Lansky quotes Chris Rock who said “Normally have a separate stash of jokes just for stand ups. I didn't separate them this time. I put them into play!”In reference to the film that he was working on at the time which was Top 5(Lansky 1).Also, Lansky quotes Chris Rock When he said “Am I going to be able to express myself properly in this medium.” Because Rock was worried that having to work with other people would not let him be able to let the creativity and that he displayed and his stand-up shine.Rock the end up including the comedy that he would use in a stand up which led the film to become more realistic creating a greater emotional attachment to his character, Andre Allen
Dave Chappelle is returning to the stage this fall for a 17-date tour run. The tour will travel to small clubs in the US, and it will begin on September 14th in Salt Lake City (UT). Chappelle has been touring for a few years now, and he usually chooses to do his stand-up at small venues. The infamous comedian has decided to lead a quieter, less hectic life as a comedian. It appears he was never comfortable living as one of the most respected comedians in the business. Some have even referred to Chappelle as the greatest comedian in the world. His stand-up routine includes racial, social, and political issues, and he has a brilliant way of implementing comedy to these controversial topics. Last
So then he gets late and misses the bus so he has to walk to school. After that he went to get a tardy slip and when he went to his locker, Thug had locked him inside. So then he explains on how he became friends with Brandon. He also loves superheros and reading comic books.
When he performs, he knows no limits with the material h writes. He jokes a lot about situations at home with his wife and son and pokes fun at his own life inbetween his ‘serious talks’. He loves to talk political even though he admits he doesn’t fully understand what is going on. He shows

This year Gilda’s LaughFest worked Grand Valley to host a free stand-up comedy show held in an auditorium at Grand Valley. This free event featured comedian Brooks Wheelan, along with two openers and was opened for students and the public to enjoy. This event I had the pleasure of attending with Betsi Ingersoll as the event you must attend with a classmate. While although this was a requirement, it was a great time. As an internship of mine, I was able to work with LaughFest and helped plan and coordinate small events. So as a future event planner I was able to analyze this event in the perspective of both a LaughFest staff member and a member of the Grand Valley Spotlight team.
Greeting them with a brief "hey kids," Jules proceeds to reduce them to the status of children while on the surface carrying on a completely mundane conversation. He does almost all of the talking, alternately teasing - "Check out the big brain on Brett." - and menacing these suburban boys until they and the audience are completely mesmerized.”
The episode of the Netflix Original Series Comedians in Cars getting Coffee With Jerry Seinfeld and Seth Meyers is one with a lot of wit and funny banter. Many of the conversations they have, especially in the coffee shop, are usually about Saturday Night Live, Seth’s work on the show and even the collabs that they had both done together, such as the “Really?” segment. It is fun to see just how two comedians act when they are working off the cuff, not necessarily trying to be funny but making something funny out of the situation. One example of situational hilarity is when they are in the car, Seinfeld revs the engine up and makes Seth uncomfortable, leading to some goofy facial expressions. Jerry chooses different cars for different people that appear on the show, so this was his way of getting a laugh out of Seth and creating a golden moment for the viewers.
It could have been anyone standing on that stage and saying the same words and the story would still be a good one, but since all this happened to him, it is all the more effective because of it. It wasn’t just any man that got to marry his lover of twenty-four years, it was him. It wasn’t any little boy at the age of nine that got pushed into a ditch for being gay, it was him.
There was may takes of clapping, yelling, cheering and the non-stop raunchy jokes from Comedian Lunell. Lunell hosted the event and kept the crowd energized while everyone waited to see what Norwood was hiding. The actor made his grand entrance several times for the camera as the crowd cheered him on before the camera crew was satisfied with their "cut" of the evening.
The ceremony began with the grand entrance of the host, Stephen Colbert prancing the stage while opening with a monologue riddled with humorous jabs, and earnest political references to Donald Trump. Per usual conviction, Colbert is known to be eccentric and uncomfortably humorous in the light of media, which led to the grandeur of the night.
New York City, 10:30 pm. It is another packed night at the Comedy Cellar on Macdougal Street, siting in the audience is a group who has just walked in from the bustle of the big city. Naturally, the stress of daily life hangs like a tangible fog, and peoples spirits rise in hope to forget about their own problems and laugh their worry away. A grumpy, fat, balding, middle aged man saunters on stage and makes some witty remark about how life sucks. In many ways he is right, everyone laughs, people relate to his struggles.
