They do this through an advertising campaign that relates to people of all ages. The CDC's ad campaign promoting influenza vaccinations has a widespread appeal to many audiences due to its use of several proven persuasive techniques. Through the use of association, flattery, and universal appeal, as well as a variety of strategies, the ad campaign is highly convincing and is able to reach many audiences.

The Better Health Association is a nonprofit company whose objective is simply to increase the health of people through health education, guidance, and diagnosis screening programs. They make an attempt to assist audiences of any age and socioeconomic ranges to gain knowledge of living an even healthy life-style and creating the know-how required to develop healthy and balanced choices. For one, as a health care regulatory agency they act as a supervisor role because they have laws, regulations and policies that represent a majority of the Public Health sector as well as the Department of Health and Human Services. One of the ways the CDC has an impact on health care delivery would be their ability to monitor illnesses such as the flu and be able to calculate the need and demand for vaccines. Their surveillance helps greatly in the delivery because they are able to make sure that patients and communities are able to receive vaccinations for illnesses such as influenza. The CDC influenza awareness campaign is exactly that, informing people about the influenza flu vaccination is and has always been a big if not the main part of that campaign.Each year, the CDC sponsors a national awareness campaign to educate the local people.The CDC’s mandate is to inform humans with poor immune systems about the importance of vaccination and provide them with helpful information on how and where to get a vaccination. The CDC takes out ads across all platforms including radio, television, magazines, and billboards even peoples own experience with the vaccination.

Chris, you seem to be implying that Lindy (the first interviewee) is young and stupid and unaware of the health risks she's bringing upon herself by staying fat. As the interviewees mentioned in the podcast, they are aware of the health risks of being fat. That was acknowledged. That was NOT the point of the podcast. The point of the podcast was to point out the hypocrisy of a society that loves to ridicule and marginalize fat people, even though we don't treat others with health concerns in the same way. Chris (and Rachel), I listened to this podcast twice, because the accounts of the interviewees really touched me. I used to be pretty overweight myself, and I can relate to a lot of the emotional and some of the physical aspects of their struggles.

You have the power to make a change in the American health epidemic. I advocate lifestyle choices that included eating fresh fruits and vegetables. Eating healthier can reduce disease and physical issues from occurring later on in someone's life. I am holding a temperance movement to reduce the average alcohol and meat consumption. These practices will improve the average health of an individual person. My goal is to put the thought of vegetarianism and dieting into the minds of many. Not only this, but bread should be made with whole wheat flour and instead of buying it from a bazaar, it should be homemade. Industrialized bread have the nutrient-rich layer of bran removed and unhealthy ingredients are added to whiten flour. This effort will highly reduce the number of people who die to disease and heart failures. I preach that my recommendations on diet could help stave off the cholera disease. Eating healthy, sleeping on rigid mattresses, and daily exercise will positively increase the longevity of the average American.
