Commandments are essential to many religions and at the home; one commandment out of many other commandments that will help improve Century High School is lying. Frequently, more people don’t just lie to others, but they lie to themselves by calling themselves fat, ugly, and other names. Century High School should strive to have clear, open minds about others and themselves. Nobody should have someone put them down like a bully, and that is the second commandment. Be kind cause who knows what is happening in that person’s life. From bulling.org it says: “People who bully use ‘differences’ to make victims feel crummy about themselves, such as ‘You’re ugly, stupid’ etc. as an excuse for their unacceptable behavior. It’s not the ‘difference’ in the victim that’s the problem because they are afraid, jealous, envious, cruel, angry, …show more content…
Third, rule is that we shouldn’t pick our noses at Century. I have ventured into several classes seeing kids with their fingers up their noses. It’s not only disturbing, but when they pick their noses, then those germs travel everywhere they touch. Let’s be considerate about the people who are around us and not pick our noses at Century. Even though people at Century might not have the patience to follow some of the commandments; we should try to consider following the commandments that will help the school be better. Another commandment treat other people like we would want to be treated. If more people respect others around them by helping in caring ways; one way people could help is by picking up school supplies that has dropped to the floor from another person that
The Ten Commandments are regarded as the fundamental laws that all Christians are to conform to. They were written by the hands of God himself and revealed to Moses on Mount Sinai, inscribed on two stone tablets. They offer basic rules of behaviour for spiritual and moral living to Christians. These laws still instruct Adherents today, for they expose sin and show us God's standard. Without the sacrifice of Christ, Adherents are completely helpless to live up to God's holy standard.
This includes prohibitions against assault and theft or respect for leaders (Source G). Given that students are at an age where they are extremely moldable, it is imperative that they learn these rules in school.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons (Colossians 3:23-25, KJV).
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

To begin with, many commandments are important to the teenagers mind. It’s not just teenagers that try to be rebellious and exclude what’s in front of them. One basic rule that all of Century should try to follow is lying. Many people don’t just lie to others they lie to themselves calling themselves fat, ugly, and many more names. Century High School should try to stay clear/open minding to others and themselves. For perhaps the millionth time you’ve heard this try to be positive about yourself and others around. Nobody likes a bully around the school and that is the second commandment. Try to be kind cause who knows what is going on in that person’s life. From bulling.org it says: “People who bully use ‘differences’ to make victims feel badly
The first question, I believe, means that any act of kindness such as, volunteering in your community, helping an old lady cross the street, holding the door open for someone, etc. are good only because god commands them. People see the Ten Commandments as a way to life. Therefore, they believe that anything god has laid out for them is moral and good because god is seen as a savior. In my opinion, however, commandments made by god are one point
Now if you add in the 10 Commandments that is around the same thing. The 10 Commandments teach
I grew up in the church and I find Paul’s commandments to be insightful. I think these are very simple and straight-forward and anyone can do it. But like I’ve said, the problem lies to people because not all are eager to follow these commands. Religious groups should teach the believers on what does it really mean to be a Christian based on the Bible, Jesus, and God.
The way I could use all Ten Commandments in the future would be my communication relationship with my family. I and my step dad never talk and I would really like to so I will use these commandments t experience communication with him. I’m not sure why we don’t talk, he’s always in the basement playing on the game system and I’ll just walk by and say hi. I will start working on this telling him the truth, I can honestly say I don’t want to talk to him because when I start a conversation he keeps it short. The just get it commandment I could defiantly use in my communication relationship with my younger siblings. Sometimes I question the thing they do all the time, why they are always arguing, why my ten year old sister is always crying about my bother telling her to shut up but what I will do is just get they we are siblings and we are going to argue,
t some point early in every presidential campaign, a Republican enforcer urges his party’s candidates not to attack another candidate by invoking the party’s Eleventh Commandment, “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.” Usually attributed to Ronald Reagan (who nicked it in 1965 from a California Republican Party chairman), the commandment signals a promise to conduct politics in a gentlemanly and ladylike fashion.
6. If you had to delete one of the “Ten Commandments,” which would you delete? Why? (Text-ch8, pg126)
L. 5 Exodus: Rules for Relating To Others The Word of God has always commands us to obey all of our authorities. He has given us certain people to put order and discipline. Whenever we obey our authorities, we are not just showing respect towards them but also honoring and glorifying the Lord.
Henceforth it says to treat everyone with love and the way we expect others to treat us.
The seven commandments above are all designed to bind a community or in this case a school together. Basic rules such as these are put in place as guidelines, but sometimes people should use their common sense to do the right thing as the seventh commandment states. Also, rules are sometimes necessary for disciplinary action to take place. Teachers can punish students when there is a written
