In summary, on 07/29/16 at 1907 hours T/O Arlowski #374, Ingve #377 and I were dispatched to 5636 W 35th St. in regards to a fight in the courtyard. Upon arrival I made contact with Gomez, Chery S. DOB 12/30/90, who related that she was involved in a verbal and physical confrontation with her neighbors. Chery further related that she borrowed her neighbor (Navarrete, Maria D. DOB 07/02/66) $30.00 USC sometime in September and has not been paid back. Chery related that Maria came to her in September and stated that she needed money ($100.00) to take her grandson to the hospital, but Chery only had $30.00 on her at the time. Chery further related that she did not want to make a big deal because it was a small amount of money. Carol related that it appeared a verbal argument between Chery, Maria, Pedro became physical. Carol further related that she did not observe Chery slap Nathaniel at any point during the altercation. Carol related she observed Maria and Pedro pushing Chery in the chest. Chery agreed to sign two (2) misdemeanor complaints against Maria and Pedro for battery. She had visible marks on her arms and neck, which appeared to be from fingernails (three photos taken). She refused medical on the scene. Nathaniel was allowed to stay with a friend of Maria with her permission by the name of Rivera, Margarita DOB 03/18/48), until his parents arrived. Maria and Pedro were placed into custody at 1927 hours and transported to the Cicero Police Station. Maria and Pedro were charged with the above offense and issued a Maybrook Court Date (09/13/16 at 1:30 P.M., room 106). Chery was provided with the same court date and report number.
