The 1992-1993 season rolled around, with Jordan and the Chicago Bulls looking to make history yet again. Early in the year the Bulls started off slow and looked as if they did not have a chance for the title. (Christopher 97) By the end of the season they were learning to win again “winning the Central Division with a 57-25 record, third best in the league” (Christopher 97). Once again the Bulls made it to the Championship Game leaving every person in shock that they made it once again. The Bulls were up against the Phoenix Sun and pushed the series to game six where the Chicago Bulls were in the position to three-peat. The end of the game was near when the Bulls were down by two, 99-98, when Suns guard threw up an air ball with 14 seconds left. (Christopher 100). …show more content…

Thus far, over his short NBA career, Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Zach LaVine has been known for one thing: his high-flying dunks. Ever since his days at UCLA, that is all people could talk about was his athleticism and high-flying acrobatics. However, its only for so long you can hold that moniker until people wonder is that all you can do?
Season Summary: The Timberwolves had a horrible year in terms of actually winning games but it was expected. This team is still very young but the upside and potential were seen on several occasions. Zach Lavine showed off his crazy athleticism and at the age of 20 his game could evolve. Andrew Wiggins looked as solid as any number one overall pick could look, and won Rookie of the Year, this will be the first of many awards for him as he continues to mature and grow. Despite these two up and comers the Timberwolves faced injuries throughout the season to guys such as, Kevin Martin, Ricky Rubio and Nikola Pekovic. Now having these players healthy wouldn’t by any means
Jordan's presence on the Chicago Bulls immediately woke up the interest of the fans. The entire franchise was very enthusiastic and felt very positive about their future. He was such a great player that on his first season he won the rookie of the year award with 28.2 points per game. The Bulls had a losing record before they had Jordan. After the Bulls had Jordan, nothing else but good things began to happen for this franchise. He took the Bulls to the playoffs for five straight years in a row. But they would always loose to the Detroit Pistons or Boston Celtics. "One problem was that Jordan sometimes played at a level so above his teammates that the Bulls failed to function as a team" (Greene 8-9).
During its memorable years with basketball superstar Michael Jordon, the Chicago Bulls became on of the most dominant sports teams in the history of sports. They won six NBA Championships (1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998) and remain as one of the elite franchises in the league.
Name your favorite sports team. Throughout my history of watching sports, I have found an interest in going for two sports teams. The first team is in the national football league and they are the Seattle Seahawks. I first started rooting for them back in 2005, which was the year they lost in the Super Bowl to the Pittsburgh Steelers. After I watched that game, I started watching a couple more games following their Super Bowl loss, then I finally decided that this is the team that I would be dedicated to rooting for the rest of my life. My other favorite basketball team is in New York and they are the New York Knicks. I began rooting for the Knicks because I was an Amar'e Stoudemire fan and when he left Phoenix, I decided to follow him there since he was the only player I cared about. I stayed a Knicks fans because of the electric atmosphere that consumes Madison Square Garden when their team is giving their all.
The NBA season is well under way and there is one team who is surprising everyone within the fantasy basketball world. The Detroit Pistons’ players have got off to an extravagant start and are quickly becoming more relevant each game that they play in. Pistons star center Andre Drummond is off to a record start and newcomer Marcus Morris may just be what us fantasy fans were looking for in a great waiver wire pickup. I knew a few of the Pistons players could be great additions to my fantasy roster, but I never believed that there would be a core four group of players who would rock our world!
