Christian Louboutin’s featured product is high-heels with red soles. The red color, Pantone 18-1663 TX, was chosen because red means love, passion, and blood. The red soles are also protected as a trademark in several countries. All of his shoe products have red soles, regardless if they are products for men or women. In addition to shoes, Christian Louboutin has a handbag and cosmetic line that encompass the trademarked sky-high heels and red soles. His handbags have the red color in the linings of the bags and they rest upon a pedestal of 4 mini metal heels, so that it may never touches the floor. From the cosmetic line, Louboutin introduced nail polishes within bottles that are shaped like heels. The bottles are 8 inches in height, and replicate the tallest heel Christian Louboutin ever created, the Ballerina Ultima. Christian Louboutin has been offered other deals outside of shoes, handbags, and cosmetic lines, but he has turned them all down so his name cannot be licensed.
Marketing Techniques: Christian Louboutin or just “Louboutin” as the brand is now commonly known as, made a name for himself through selling a dream rather than a product. Louboutin heels are the prime product for women and the shoes elevate, both figuratively and literally, a once simple girl into a powerful, confident and sexy woman, transforming her into her very own Cinderella fairytale.
Louboutin not only utilizes the value creation marketing technique but also the scarcity marketing
Maroons and grays, obnoxious greens and purples, Dr. Suesse, florals, mints, creams, and blacks have littered my bedroom floor for the last six-plus years. From low-tops to knee-high high-tops, each pair has offered me the confidence to take the next step. To this day, the sight of a battered toe cap and a peeling racing stripe makes me feel like I am anyone and everyone that has ever worn these classic canvas shoes. I am the confident ‘50s high school basketball star racing down the court and my carefree 8-year-old-self sprinting across the backyard with my
In the novella, “The House on Mango Street,” by Sandra Cisneros, the symbol of shoes represents how attractive you are and how you are portrayed by society. For example, “It’s Rachel who learns to walk the best all strutted in those magic high heels. She teaches us to cross and uncross our legs, and to run like a double dutch rope, and how to walk down to the corner so that the shoes talk back to you.” (pg. 40). This quote shows how Esperanza and her friends want to act very mature and lady like, and how the shoes play a huge role in this.
The final shoe I investigated is the MASTRO in the color bright multi. This is a 4.5inch heel stiletto. The bright multi pattern could be described as a splattered paint type of print. The colors on the shoe consist of lavender, pale pink, white, gray, baby blur and black. It is a sandal with two buckled straps and laces up in the back of the shoe.
This advertising campaign is for Autumn Winter 2009/10 for Prada and Gucci for the footwear collection. In both the advertising campaign both the brand focused only on the product. Gucci’s products are very shiny and glamorous which represents very urban, beautiful, young and chic look. Where as Prada shoes are inspired by Trojan helmet/headgear which gives very stylish and cool look and more focus on product detailing.
One, as been told in the film, that “red is the color of sex”, and “The Sex is in the Heel” pertaining to the idea of what message should the production of the boots give out to the niche market. Second, the wig and dresses Lola wears. It shows how she hides herself from the identity of Simon and tries to fit in the world where she believes she belongs. Lastly, the existence of shoes further implies several messages: (1) moving forward with the dreams, goals, and hopes in life, (2) comfortable shoes take you anywhere, (3) “you are a lucky man in a proper place”, quoted from Bunny Slippers, (4) shows sexuality, and (5) symbolizes power and
In the text “Exposed Toes” the author, Diane Riva, reflects on her collection of shoes and how each pair has a meaning to her. She describes how each pair of shoe she owns relates to a specific memory or time period in her life. She asserts that shoes can tell stories of our lives and are not just an article of clothing that we wear on our feet. Riva goes through all the shoes she owns and explains their story and how the shoe is a part of her life. For example, she brings up her black sneakers which are worn when we works at a bar. She states, “they are constant recipients of the over-filled glass of alcohol.” From this we learn her profession and get some insight on her memories as a bartender. Riva talks about all of her shoes in this manner
Christian Louboutin once said “a shoe has so much more to offer than just to walk”. Similarly, author Diane Riva discusses this idea in her essay “Exposed Toes”. Riva takes a compelling approach to her argument believing that shoes are not just part of your wardrobe rather they are your identity. For Riva, her black sneakers represent her career life as they are the shoes she wears to work, her boat shoes resemble her connection with nature, her high-heel dress shoes speak for her elegance, her sandals represent her spontaneous self and lastly her “shoes of choice” are her natural feet as they represent everything about Riva’s world and go with her everywhere. Overall, Riva express that her shoes are her identity and each pair resemble apart of her character.

This stylish and elegant ladies shoe made by Christian Louboutin shoe designers is one of the best gift shoes one can
The company’s logo is also embedded artistically along the top portion of the tongue that sticks out wittingly behind the bright blue of the lace locks. To cap off the beautiful design, the back of the shoes contains subtle jumpmans in full flight above a classy imprint that reads just one word: AIR. The “UNC” might seem ordinary and subtle; however, make no mistake about it, it is a true work of art.
If I was in the princess shoes i would have told my lover to chose the door with the lady in it. Even if that means letting the person you love be with someone you hate. This decision shows about people who care about others then themselves. Do you really want to see someone you care about get punished? because you weren't happy with the outcome. At first, it might be emotional but at the end you start a realize it was for the best. On the other hand if you were to decide his fate and would've let him chose the tiger therefore bringing out selfishness. Could you live up knowing that you ' killed ' someone? and could have prevented it from happening. Certain people would be outrage since they can't get the person they want at the end then decides
How is kim Kardashian supposed to help you run or buy shoes? They just want the people to buy these shoes because kim has proved them. but to her this is another money making method, as well for the skechers. Just because kim is in good shape and other would want to look like her they would buy these shoes, who maybe kim use’s. So kim approved skechers do not help you lose weight or look better.
For my own artist paper, I chose to study the French fashion house, Christian Dior SE. During the past seven decades, Christian Dior has transformed its brand from just another high end fashion house into a name synonymous with wealth, sophistication, power, dignity, and prestige. Christian Dior stands in a league of its own in our culture. It’s a mega brand with major influence over fashion and business. Instead of spending hours hunting down financial records and hiring practices for a smaller house, Christian Dior appealed to me because of their long history, easily accessible records, and publicly traded status meaning they would have long reports outlining all the companies numbers for a given year. Christian Dior is also the majority owner of the luxury holdings company LVMH, with a 40.9% controlling share and 100% ownership of Christian Dior Couture (CITATION).
Christian Louboutin is a person. It must be used in commerce. Louboutin has his own company in which he sells these shoes in the market place. Therefore, consumers can obtain the product with the mark on it. The red soles do in fact help to identify and distinguish the goods within the market place because most shoe designers stick to a black or beige sole rather than red. They are also used as a source indicator because they have been used by Louboutin himself for many years. Louboutin was granted registration for his mark in 2008 when he applied and therefore has a trademark because he clearly meets all the requirements.
Over the years Clarks has introduced many innovative designs such as Dessert Boots, 'Wallabees', 'Softees', 'Springers' (with air filled soles) and a CICA range of sports shoes, which has consolidated the Clarks brand as one of quality and innovation.
