The Southern Digest newspaper made its debut in an extremely critical period in December 1995. The sole purpose of this publication was to “dwell on the preservation of the American way of life, i.e., the principle of segregation of races and the protection of our constitution” (Southern Digest, 1955). Stories and sections were dedicated to providing opinions and information regarding opposition to both federally mandated public school desegregation as declared by the Supreme Court decision and the emerging Civil Rights Movement in the southern states. During the issued volume, much of the content illustrated the recent orders of the Supreme Court for desegregation from earlier in the year as unethical and unlawful in the eyes of the constitution

It was 6 September 1959 when the entry of a new baby boy was gladly received as a fresh member of the family. He was given the name James Edward Jamerson. As years passed, many relatives and friends predicted what the young child would become. Some predicted greatness, while others believe he would remain at the same educational and achievement level of his forefathers; blue collar workers.

WRK1 was tasked with measuring a high temperature water valve in the machine room. After measuring the valve WRK1 and his partner picked up the heavy valve off the floor and began placing the valve in its new location. When the valve was almost in place WRK1’s left hand slipped out from under the valve causing the valve to fall and rotate. As the valve descended WRK1 tried to use his right hand to catch the valve but, the rotating motion and weight took WRK1’s wrist bending it backward and twisting it. WRK1 heard a loud pop as his wrist twisted and instantly felt a sharp pain. WRK1 was taken to a nearby medical facility where he was diagnosed with a sprained right wrist and given a brace plus medication for the pain.
After reading the case study and piecing together what I believe might be a torn or strained Lateral collateral ligament with inflammation to the patella. Though the study does not say what caused the damaged to the the knee. The evidence suggest that is the likely diagnoses. My reasoning behind this is because of the edema and swelling to the knee on the lateral portion of the femoral condyle. The LCL orgin is the epicondyle of the femur which is very close in proximity to the condyle causing the ligament to become strain by what ever force was exterted on it. The study also states rectangular shaped chondral defect involving the superior aspect of the central patellar facet with a measuremental defects. This tells me that the person fell

There were also stories about St. James ' retaliations against non-believers who questioned his power. Constable translates a story about Saracens who took over Compostela, and "by divine retribution, some of them were afflicted by looseness of the bowels, and shot whatever they had in their bellies out through their back passages. Others lost the sight of their eyes and wandered blindly about the church and the city." This account demonstrates what could happen if one did not show proper respect towards St. James. This served as a warning to whoever had evil intents towards the cathedral. Later in the story, Al-Mansur claims that if St. James restores him to his "earlier state of health" then he would renounce "Muhammad and will not come again to the land of great St. James bent on taking booty." The story has evolved into a conversion story. This showcases the power of Roman Catholic saints against non-believers, and how saintly actions can so powerfully affect individuals. Like the previous stories about the miracles of St. James, this would have been written for a Christian audience, as it has such a negative attitude towards the Saracens. Constable also translated a part from the Guide du Pelerin where "two penniless pilgrims returning from Compostela tried a whole street of houses before they were finally offered lodging. During the night all the houses in that street were burned down, apart from the one in which the pilgrims had spent the night." This story
