A dream, I have is to teach my future students how to be productive in society and want to learn for the betterment of themselves. I want to teach and have a positive impact on others. I have many reasons for wanting to teach. First and foremost, I love children. I come from a large family having 9 siblings, 8 living; 6 older brothers and 2 younger sisters. As knowing that you can tell I have plenty of nephews and nieces to keep me busy. My mother (which I lost in 2007) had always told me that I would be a great teacher. I wish I would have listened to her sooner. However, will admit my passion for a career has always been something to deal with children. By having my classroom management plan in order, I feel I can be the best for my future students.

Classroom discipline is defined as the teachers’ efforts to establish and maintain the following: (1) Teachers are allowed to teach in a professional manner without disruptions, (2) Students should be allowed to learn, (3) Students are to learn how to cooperated, get along with each other, and to work together, and (4) both teachers and students experience satisfaction and pleasure in their school experiences. The above definition can be found on page 33 of Building Classroom Discipline. I feel that classroom discipline is very important in school as it creates a hierarchical pattern in knowing what is expected with the teachers and students. It allows students to have a sense of belonging, and offers the expectations form their teachers which allows learning to occur. I as a future educator feel I have obtained ideas from the many experts we have read about in our textbooks. I feel the students should be treated no matter the race, ethnicity,
I’ve always aspired to be a teacher. Growing up I wasn’t the smartest kid, and honestly my teachers weren’t very much help with that. Truly, as a struggling student I felt that when I had a bad teacher, there was no chance for me. So ever since I was young, I wanted to grow up to be that change, I didn’t want any struggling student to feel like I did.
want to be a teacher becuas I want to make a difference in the lives of as many students as I can.I have had much experience working with children- from vacation bible study teacher, bible study teacher, to youth leader for the young adult choir. These responsibities have helped me realize my love for children. All these experiences have impacted my work ethic and helped me develop habits of patience, a professional attitude , and a desire to work
When I was a child, I remember people always asking me, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Every time I was asked that question I came up with a different answer. As I grew up, though, I began to realize that there was one profession that I always wanted to be: a teacher. I have always loved working with children, and helping them with their studies. Just the opportunity to teach them something that they did not know before is something that I have always enjoyed.
An essential tool to create a safe environment for students to learn is classroom management. I hope to create an effective classroom management plan that dissolves barriers that are stopping students from learning. I am highly committed to make my classroom a safe environment where my students are provided with the best opportunity to be challenged and engaged in learning. As a special education teacher, I seek to meet the needs of every student I work with, so they have a sense of belonging in my classroom. I believe belonging will create a classroom atmosphere that will be conducive to student-centered learning in which all students are challenged to be critical thinkers.
My philosophy of classroom management is to allow students to be responsible for their own behavior at all times. I believe allowing students to be responsible for their behavior and actions allow them to have a sense of freedom. When students have freedom, they seem to be more successful and respectful. Classroom management is more successful when the class is student-centered. Students should be included in the planning of classroom rules, room arrangement, and communication should flow smoothly between teacher and student. Although the class is student-centered the teacher should be in control of the classroom. The teacher should know what is going on at all times, plan interesting and informative lessons, and be
I have always wanted to be a parent. I am a newly wed and we plan to have children in the near future. I feel that I will be a great parent because I helped raise my two sisters so I have background with helping children and meeting their needs. As a future educator, I must convince students that I care. I plan to open new doors and introduce ideas that spark interest in their souls.
