“Claude, Lunabelle, Alis!” Orion shouted as he and Lydia ran into the alley.
“Orion!” Lunabelle cried. Claude managed to look up from his shocked state and point to Alis. Orion’s face twisted into an enraged expression. He drew his sword and stabbed the troll in the leg, which caused it to swing a fist at him. He evaded then climbed onto its back. Lydia shouted at the twins and forced them to run away before grabbing Alis and carrying her on her back.
“Bastard! Bastard! BASTARD!” Orion shouted as he repeatedly stabbed the troll in the back of the neck.
The goblin rider lunged at Orion with a dagger, but Orion tossed him aside like he was nothing. The troll eventually fell, shaking the earth as it hit the ground. Orion sheathed his sword. The twins cried into Lydia’s corset.

When the demon didn’t answer immediately, Orion stabbed his sword into his foot. “WHO SENT YOU HERE?!?”
“AHAHAHA!! It was Grizzly Durrett!!” The demon cried.
“Grizzly Durrett? Don’t lie to me!”
“It’s the truth, I swear! It’s the second, Grizzly Durrett the Second, the Monster King!”
Monster King? It was like what the Kicearin juice seller was saying before. Orion teetered his sword back and forth before yanking it out of the demon’s foot. He looked like he’d finished his torture, but then he raised his sword again, screaming. Kann appeared and deflected the attack.
“That’s enough!” he said.
“Get out of my way, dog!”
Orion tried going for the knight but his sword was flung away by Terces’ shield. He smacked Orion to the ground and pointed his blade at him.
“I’m taking this pig back to Elway. You just take care of your own people.”
Kann grabbed the demon by the collar of his shirt and dragged him away. Terces sheathed his sword and walked off in a random direction, leaving Orion to wallow on the ground. The tides had turned for our heroes and they weren’t going to forget it as long as they
