Summary: Climate change is a huge thing, species are dying, and scientists are getting depressed because they were studying their type of specie for more than 40 to 50 years. People whose work are related to climate change will have to deal with stress because of the nature that deals with what we view the world as. And to continue to address climate change, we must recognize and responds to climate trauma. Climate trauma encompasses toxic stress and psychological trauma of living with the consequences of climate change as well as our knowledge of them. In which for individuals, it comes in small and lifelong forms. Acute forms of climate trauma include trauma and shock, post-traumatic stress disorder, compound stress, impact on physical health, and strains on social relationships. Chronic forms of climate trauma include aggression and violence, mental health emergencies, loss of personally important places, loss of autonomy and control, loss of personal and occupational identity, and Eco anxiety. Evidence of these traits is found on a website forum where scientists share their feelings about climate change. In which they all feel dismayed, powerless, and overwhelmed. One factor said that the planet we live on will be degraded for our children and another factor, says their emotion in all of this is anger.
