INTRODUCTION: Cloud computing is type of internet-based computing network in which many remote servers are allowed to the centralized data storage, and online access to computer services or resources. Cloud computing, or in simpler notation "the cloud"; it mainly focuses on the effectiveness of shared resources. It not only share the multiple resources to multiple users but also reallocate the resources on demand. It mainly works on allocation of resources. A cloud computer serves multiple users at a time with different applications. For example, a cloud computer serves European users during European business hours with an application such as "email" and may also reallocate the same for North American users during North American hours …show more content…
It also makes use of many standards which are given from the SOA domain, and provides easy access to the cloud services in a standard format. Cloud computing is evolved from Quality Of Service and reliability problems which also gives us an idea about grid computing. Cloud computing also provides many tools and technological information to create data applications and also to compute some applications which are more expensive when compared to some techniques like parallel computing techniques. GRID COMPUTING: It is a type of parallel and distributing technology which gives us a cluster of networks and used to perform many large tasks similar to loosely coupled computers. MAINFRAME COMPUTERS: These are very powerful computers which are used in large organizations for doing many critical applications and also for large data processing like financial transactions, industrial and costumer related services, intelligence statistics and entrepreneurship, resource planning. UTILITY COMPUTING: The package of many computer resources like computational power, memory storage capacity etc acts as a metered service similar to public utility services like electricity. PEER -TO-PEER: It is a type of distributing network where there is no need for any coordination between client and server. In this type of architecture, customers or the participants acts as both suppliers and consumers of resources. CLOUD ARCHITECTURE is a type of system architecture
The national Institute of Standards and Technology under the department of Commerce defines Cloud Computing as “a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction”. Another definition for cloud computing is a term used to describe a network of computers that deliver information technology
Cloud computing mainly involves computing inside a network where all the applications or programs can run on many connected PC’s at the same time. All these computers are connected together and are refereed as a server which is then connected through a communication network such as internet, intranet, LAN and WAN.
Cloud computing is an internet based computing which provides various applications and services like storage, servers, infrastructure, networking with low cost, on-demand self service, pay as you go model, location independent resource pooling, reasonable price , rapid elasticity etc. Cloud computing is one way to increase the capacity add capabilities without investing in new infrastructures like computer hardware involves storage memory, licensing for new software, training for a person and in a dynamic way.
Companies all around the world shift more and more towards cloud computing and engage in its advancements. They notice how much simpler and easier their business can be with the use of it. For instance in the past, individuals would run programs and applications from a downloaded software on a PC physically or by server, while cloud computing permits the user access to the same sorts of utilization through the web. So anything shared through Cloud is available to be edited by whomever it is being shared to. Cloud computing also allows users to store and process their data in third-party data centers. It relies on sharing of resources to have a stable and coherent network.
Cloud computing describes anything involving the delivery of hosted services over the Internet. The service takes it names from the cloud symbol used to represent the Internet in flowcharts and diagrams. Due to significant innovations in virtualization and distributed computing, along with improved access to high-speed Internet and a weak economy, interest in cloud computing has increased substantially in recent years (TechTarget, 2007).
Cloud computing is a popular and widely accepted paradigm built concepts such as on-demand computing resources, elastic scaling, elimination of up-front capital and operational expenses, and establishing a pay-as-you-use business model for computing and information technology services. And the adoption of virtualization, service oriented architectures, and utility computing there has been a significant development in the creation of cloud
Cloud computing has gained significant popularity over the past few years because of its self service capacity, flexibility, affordability, scalability and its pay as you go service model. You may have also heard cloud computing referred to as the cloud, cloud hosting, cloud server hosting and etc. These terms have been thrown around so much and most do not even know exactly what it means. So what is cloud computing?
In computer networking , cloud computing is computing that involves a large number of computers connected through a communication network such as the Internet , the same as utility computing . In science , cloud computing is a synonym for distributed computing over a network, and that means the ability to run a program or application on many computers connected at the same time .
Cloud computing is a information technology (IT) worldview that empowers omnipresent access to shared pools of configurable framework assets and more elevated amount benefits that can be quickly provisioned with negligible administration exertion, regularly finished the Internet. Cloud computing depends on sharing of assets to accomplish lucidness and economy of scale, like a utility.

The second type of cloud computing is Grid computing which also follows the distributed architecture in which there are cluster of computers which share resources with each other like
Cloud computing is the practice of using remote network servers via the Internet to manage, store and process data. Many businesses use cloud computing because in a lot of cases it can be cheaper, faster and easier to maintain then local servers. Since its introduction cloud computing has grown to not only be used by businesses but also regular Internet. Cloud computing services such as Google Docs, Dropbox and more are one of the reasons for this shift. They allow the user to access their files whenever and wherever they want.
Cloud Computing is the use of common software, functionality or business applications from a remote server that is accessed via the Internet. Basically, the Internet is the "cloud" of applications and services that are available for access by subscribers utilizing a modem from their computer. With Cloud Computing, one simply logs into desired computer applications - such as sales force or office automation programs, web services, data storage services, spam filtering, or even blog sites. Generally, access to such programs is by monthly or annual paid subscription. Through Cloud Computing, businesses may prevent financial waste, better track
