There Is no real success only the accomplishments in life that leaves you in total restful serenity. Where everything in life is peaceful, yet the only way to get to that point is if everyone works together and listen. In thirty years when I look back on my life, I wish to see a world that has grown to where the people learn and teach each other. However, we must start with ourselves first then teach that to the new generations to come. When that one person takes that one step forward the rest will follow. So, I will start off with what I would do to help this along in the accomplishments. I wish to see in my life when I look back in thirty years. To begin this process, I would take all dogs that have been deemed unadoptable due to behavioral
Life normally doesn’t go the way you plan when you’re young. When I was little, I figured that when I was at the age of graduation I would be totally prepared to go off my own. As I sit and think about the topic of how my life is going, several thoughts pour into my mind. First, I think of how lucky I am. The past two years could’ve changed my life because of bad health. Through weeks and months of hospitals stays and hours spent in the doctor’s office and in the emergency room, I’ve come out lucky and I have almost returned to good health. Second, I think of those friends who I thought would be there for my whole life that are no longer a part of my life. I also look to the people who I never thought would be there by my side and realize
Though time I had a lot of accomplishments some very good and some not so good growing up was hard but I was determined to be the best I can!!?
One of my most cherished thoughts is that all goals are in grasp if you can work hard enought and long enought you can achieve them. I also believe with dedication any person can reach what they dreamed about.
Ever since I was little I have aspired to be something great in life, a chef, a pro. soccer player, and an artist. I still hold on to those dreams in hopes they will come true. All of these dreams shape who I am today. I play soccer for “Charlotte Soccer Academy” and previously for the “Waddell Soccer Team”. Both have kept me being a team player and a stronger leader. I go to visual arts camp over the summer and try to use creativity at any moment possible. I love making cupcakes and baking which also allow me to be creative. I have finally realized that all of these dreams originated from my family. I pursued soccer, like my parents did throughout their lives. I continue drawing, like my mother and father did until it became their life and jobs. I am still love making cakes and cupcakes every weekend, just like how i've seen my grandmother make them. Life has a very strange and mind-boggling way of turning out. I know that sounds cheesy, but it is really true.
What's mine is yours. Having lived a year in a student hostel I understood this phrase was the best to describe my first year student life. We shared everything: all of bright spots, all of difficult moments, all of the books and all of the cakes. My roommates are my best friends now and I trust them as I would myself. I believe amazing adventures and close friendship are waiting for us too! Also I believe, my dear roommate, you’ll get at least one new hobby living with me. I promise I’ll share to you with my frenzy for mountains. Oh, that’s really amazing! I’m a participant of the university tourist all around team(sports tourism university team member) and every weekend we get to go to incredibly picturesque places of Zailiyskiy Alatau.
At this point in my life, my greatest accomplishment is graduating from the New Jersey Medical School Pre-Medical Honors Program at Rutgers University. This accomplishment was the determining factor in my decision to take on a career in medicine. In this program, I was to be under the mentorship of renowned professors and students in medical school. Through these mentors, I gained a firm knowledge on what a career in the medical field consisted of. The professors were able to teach me about the history of medicine, issues in medicine, and the wide variety of career paths that exist within it. In addition, the mentors explained the pivotal impact that the health care system and health care professionals have on the health of the public. The
I believe the turning point of my life began with the separation of my parents. I had always imagined myself living in my native homeland of the Dominican Republic. Yet, my life would drastically change as a consequence of my parents divorce. A few weeks after my parent’s divorce, my mother and I arrived undocumented in Boston, Massachusetts. Thus, at the age of fourteen, I found myself in a new country with few family and friends. The following chapter of my life would require me to not only make sacrifices but also become more independent. The meaning and value for me becoming independent at a young age was twofold: (1) I was able to help my mother financially and (2) I learned the meaning of hard work and perseverance. I recognize that my tangible core values cannot be measured by test scores—though I have done well academically—but by my desire and perseverance to become a successful Latina.
My personal growth is a significant aspect of who I am, moreover, this continues to be a trait I strive to develop. To understand how far I’ve come as a person, you need to see where I came from and what motivated me to change.
Michael Jordan once said, “I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” Through the years in my life, I have made myself refer back to this saying several times whenever I fail at something. One time, however, is more significant than all of the others.
“Be strong, banish fear and doubt, and remember the lord is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9 New International Version). Next month on September 28th, will be my 30th birthday, another milestone will be met. As I look forward to celebrate this milestone, I have also taken the time to reflect on who I am today. Throughout the years, I have experienced many obstacles that have influenced me into becoming the person I am currently. Moving to Columbia, South Carolina had great, if not the greatest, influence on me.
I believe in setting a schedule and a goal for a certain amount of time helps you efficiently accomplish all of your tasks. In my opinion, being organized and following discipline helps advance your achievements in school.
Have you ever wished that you could wake up with not a worry in the world? I know I have but life hits hard doesn’t it? As a young child in elementary school or even not in school yet life is easy I would say. The kids don’t have too much on their plate, all they are worried about is nap time, snack time, recess time you know fun thing. Then suddenly you grow up! Remember all the fun times you had? Now it’s all about work time, class time, dinner time heck half the time we don’t even know what bed time is. Although it all may seem scary and hard there are ways to balance school, work and family.
I have always been thinking that what makes who I am today. Whether my family, my surrounding or my own personality. I have been trying to find out the answer and I think that I have found out the answer. It is a combination of all of the criterias mentioned above that have shaped my personality and made me who I am today. Although I might not really sure who I am to others, but I will introduce myself to you and tell you who I think I am in this essay.
To bottle the essence in this premier moment- the liquid of success and pride, the raw emotion in that moment that has propelled my character to it's actualized state of being- would have been a fantasy amongst reality. I open my tear dotted eyes as my ears resonate the echoes of confetti cannons and cheers from the arena. My muscles ache with joy, and my mind is chasing the realization that is at hand. I have just won a midwestern color guard championship. The golden haze of chaos that ensues is one that has forever imprinted on my mind, a haze that lingers in my peripheral vision, in constant search of a worthy emotion to compare to. The prime success in this moment alone- has been the sole fuel in the flame of my determination and strive for achieved ambitions.
Reflecting on my childhood, I always had a vivid imagination. I loved telling stories to anyone who would listen. As I grew older, I began writing poetry and I became obsessed with movies. Over the years, I realized that I wanted to travel to some of the places I had seen in the various movies but my thoughts of what I wanted to remain indifferent.
