Seabiscuit vs. Secretariat
Impossible. A word the average English speaking individual fears. It is defined as: incapable of being done. In 2010 Walt Disney released Secretariat, a movie that tells the impossible true story of possibly, the greatest racehorse ever. Universal Studios DreamWorks released Seabiscuit several years prior. Similarly, the movie Seabiscuit provides its audience with a portal back in time to tell yet another seemingly impossible true story. Except this movie tales the journey of three men and one very special horses’ rise to success and fame. While both films recount inspirational and seemingly impossible true stories, Seabiscuit edges out Secretariat at the wire through the use of a more historically accurate

His stellar acting was a quintessential part of the movie’s success. On the other hand, in Secretariat the main character Penny Chennery played by Diane Lane was not as fulfilling. Her character felt very forced and dramatized for the big screen. Throughout the movie the audience is able to predict her every move, her character feels like just another
Seabiscuit an American racehorse who turned into a legend had two different forms of entertainment created after him. The first one was a book it was called Seabiscuit: An American Legend it was written by Laura Hillenbrand. The second was a movie created on July 25, 2003. Both forms of entertainment were similar and at the same time highlighted on different forms (change better wording).
The acting was generally composed and well remembered. The main characters Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Lurch, and Grandma Addams respectfully felt like a real family and communicated very well for the whole play. For example Erica Weisz as Morticia Addams whose performance stood out the most. She was the most exhilarating actor and I couldn’t wait to see more of here while each scene passed. My favorite scene with her was ‘The Game’ a dinner scene where they take turns sipping out of a cup that makes them say what they truly want in life. On the other hand Pugsley played by Brendan Knox forgot his lines and was acting quite over confident and obnoxious as if he was more
Seeming this was the first time watching Secretariat. I was very impressed on how the characters interacted with each other and the story plot was excellent.
Since the beginning of civilization, many travelers left their homelands in order to explore new territories and cultures. Travelers such as Xuanzang, Marco Polo, and Ibn Battuta were all introduced to new ideas that were recorded. During the Post-Classical period, travelers in the new world encountered shocking ideas that led them to engage in a wider world.

Taylor England playing the role of Lucia was very intriguing to watch. Her facial expressions alone made her a great actress for the role of Lucia in my opinion. Even when she was not the main focus of a scene, she continued to stay in character and the seriousness that came with a majority of the play. Taking acting for non majors has made me realize how much more difficult it is to not
Some things seem impossible. Some things do not. Winning these games seem impossible. Nothing is impossible. Just some things have a very less likely chance of happening than others.
I thought the acting in the movie was exceptional. The actor that played Nell did a very good job. She made the viewer’s believe that she really had her own language that no one else understood. Her body movements and responses were also very interesting. I also liked how Dr. Jerry made an effort to understand Nell instead of
People who often say “IMPOSSIBLE” often miss out on their opportunity to achieve greatness. If we keep thinking that everything is impossible, it will pull us further away from success.

Jennifer Hudson played the role of Effie really well and was considered one of the best actors in this film. Effie sings and
Donatelli in the novel, Gary Daniels is more than appropriate for the role; he is a retired professional kickboxer and hence he will be able to incorporate his own experiences as a fighter to further the film’s atmosphere and ideas of fighting one’s way to the top. Not only will he easily adapt to the novel’s plot for the fact that he is an experienced kickboxer, but also, he acquired experience from playing a team leader on the movie, Misfire. Such a trait (leadership) is a major part of Mr. Donatelli’s characterization and is imperative for a thorough representation of his well-versed, self-disciplined personality. (3) Whoopi Goldberg as Aunt Pearl: Aunt Pearl’s hardworking and wise personality cannot be played by any actor just as it cannot be taken lightly.
“The Rocking-Horse Winner” is a tragic story written by D.H. Lawrence. The story demonstrates how being materialistic can be destructive. Lawrence uses symbolism to explain how love and happiness can be destroyed by money. The whispering of the house and Paul’s rocking horse represent his need for love and compassion. Hester is the symbol of greed, selfishness and she displays the effects of materialism.
Also, Julianne Moore's acting is great that she does not play only one role in the movie, but a role in different stages.
