The tale of Romeo and Juliet has been portrayed in many ways. Two star crossed lovers confined by their family’s hate for each other. Some famous versions of its duplication are in the 1968 and 2013 movies “Romeo and Juliet”. A good scene to use for comparison is the death scene at the end of the story. Still in some ways they’re similar. While in many ways they are also different. The version from 1968 depicts a great death scene with lots of potential that wasn’t shown. The Romeo (Leonard Whiting) and Juliet (Olivia Hussey) showed little emotion and lacked the ability to make me feel fully immersed in the story. This version also skipped a key point, the fight between County Paris and Romeo. Though it did lack good emotion, it did make up

The big talk with all teens these days, is romeo and juliet (not really). They are all wondering the same exact question: Whose fault is it that romeo and juliet went through their horrible tragedy together. Is it the families?... Romeo?… The friar?… Well, you guessed it in the title. It is all juliet's fault that all of this ever went down. The main idea of the essay today will be how juliet messed up everything. Yes, there were many other people that contributed to their deaths, like the nurse, but the main problem of all of this, is Juliet. I will talk about her main mess ups and how she could have fixed these problems.
After both reading the text and viewing the 1996 film the medium that best delivers Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, especially the balcony scene, is the text. To begin, the play has a much tenser, suspenseful mood compared to the movie. "'To lure this tassel gentle back again! Bondage in hoarse and may not speak aloud, Else would I tear the cave where Echo lies'" (II.ii.160-163). In the previous quote Juliet it speaking to Romeo and telling him that her parents are nearby and that they must whisper. This allows for a much more suspenseful mood, because the reader knows that at any moment the star-crossed lovers could be caught by Lord and Lady Capulet. Additionally, the text portrays Shakespeare's story better because Juliet is standing
The leading example of the lesson taught is when Romeo and Juliet have their first night together. Their meeting arises immediate disregards to their families hatred for one another and results in plans for a secret marriage. It begins when Romeo goes to the Capulet ball with his friends and meets Juliet. Their exchanges are interrupted when Juliet must go to her Mother. Later, the nurse tells Juliet that Romeo is a Montague. Juliet overlooks this the extent of this issue and says, “My only love sprung from my only hate! / Too early seen unknown; / and known too late! / Prodigious birth of love it is to me / that I must love a loathed enemy” (Shakespeare 1.5.151,155). Juliet and Romeo both know that what they are doing is wrong, but Juliet
Good Morning Ms Lewis and students, today I will be comparing two cinematic interpretations of the classic Shakespeare love story Romeo & Juliet. Which is the 1968 version by director Franco Zeferelli and the 1996 version by the famous director Baz Luhrmann. The scenes in which I will be analysing is the opening scene Act 1 Scene 1 and comparing the differences between the two and which version I think is more effective and appeals to teenagers emotionally.
Please Know that I make haste with the remedies going on in the walls of Verona. Today and tomorrow may look burdensome and dreary, being then the fool of time and fortune as the stars have made thee. Yet still, as I have promised, your fair Juliet shall come to thee once more. For Paris stands not in the way of thy love, nor the lord or lady Capulet kin. Make knowing of yourself the pact array, for your fairest one’s path to you is through chimera and gray. She hath taken a vial, upon my prescription, that will stream through her core. The concoction will cause illusioned death, of the coldest persuasion. To the truth of truths, she lives, yes, but no warm lips or swell cheeks shall attest upon this fact. Her discovery, in such

Romeo and Juliet; a classic tragedy of two lovers who cannot be together due to circumstances beyond their control. The story has been done by various movies, many of which change certain aspects in an attempt to breathe new life into this age old tale. In 1996, Director Baz Luhrman took the story and placed it in a modern setting where the two rival families are mafia families. This sounds like an interesting take on the story and it certainly was, but the movie turned out as a complete mess.
Romeo and Juliet were in true love because they were more than willing to change for each other and they fought for each other. Some could counter it by saying that they were just teenagers that is a common age to change because you are finding out who you are. However they were in true love because true love is different for each person.

William Shakespeare was born in 1564 in the town of Stratford Upon Avon. He was married to a beautiful young women by the name of Anne Hathaway at eighteen years old. They conceived three children, two daughters and a son who sadly died at the age of eleven. Romeo and Paris both loved Juliet. They both fought for her to love them but in the end no one got to be with Juliet because they all passed away. This is very sad that all this love for one girl but in the end no one was able to love her. It is a love story with a tragic end.
The 1997 version of Romeo and Juliet was correctly portrayed, mainly because it was a modern version, but it followed the story line very well. They followed all major events, and made sure to stick to the original story. The stories of course have their differences, but they never really differ too far from each other. The 1997 version of “Romeo and Juliet” by Baz Luhrmann effectively portrays the story by using scenes, lines, and imagery from the original.
Romeo and Juliet is the tragic love story that everyone knows. Romeo and Juliet is the heartbreaking love story between Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet who lived in Italy in the middle ages. Capulets and Montagues are bitter enemies. Because Romeo comes from Montague and Juliet from Capulet, their parents will not allow them to associate with each other. We had the pleasure of reading the classic story in class and then proceeding to watch the movie. I noticed a couple of differences between the book and the movie while watching.
The 1968 Romeo and Juliet film was unique from the other three in the sense that it modeled
