A young girl sits down at her church, ready to pray for her god, known as The Holy Trinity. She worships Christianism, the belief that Jesus is a Holy God. This may seem much different from from something like Confucianism, in which the members study teachings from Confucius, but it has similarities. Every religion, whether it be Hinduism, Buddhism, or Confucianism from the east, or Christianity, Judaism, or Islam from the west, have similarities as well as differences. First of all, Christianity and Confucianism actually do have many similarities, even if they are from different places, worshipping different gods as well as teachings. Some examples are that Buddhism wants self peace and to reach enlightenment, while Islam wants to get to Heaven and be a substantial person. An example of this being related is that Buddhism wants to reach enlightenment and be able to connect with the gods, and Islam wants to get to Heaven by being an exceptional person. In Buddhism, the only way to reach enlightenment (Nirvana) is to get past self-centeredness, and give others attention and care, which is considered being a satisfactory person. However, they are very different in terms of reincarnation. Buddhism is based around the theory that you will be reborn again and again, cycling through life and death, until you reach Nirvana. Islam believes that you will go to Heaven or hell based on how you act in your life time, believing that worshipers get a chance once to prove that they are worthy of going to Heaven. Buddhism also believes that meditating is one of the best ways to reach their goal, while Islam believes praying and worshiping like Christians is the best
