In order to become a cosmetologist, I will have to take certain steps. According to Bureau of Labor Statistics, I must graduate from a state-licensed barber or cosmetology school. I would love to study them all, and learn how to do each and every one of them. I know that this accomplishment will take some time. I am going t take the time out to name each path under cosmetology. The first one is a hair color specialist, or hair colorist, specializes in the change of natural hair color. A cosmetologist is a person that is trained to care for people's skin, hair, nails, safety, and sanitation.  Cosmetologists can also referred as beauticians. To become a cosmetologist, a person will have to attend a beauty school/cosmetology school, to learn the techniques required. These techniques are, but not limited to hair cutting, perming, coloring, nails, and makeup as well as waxing. In order to get a license, a person will need to pass the board exam after they have completed cosmetology school. Each state has different requirements in order to pass, these differences include how many hours of school needed before taking the exam. The steps I need to take in order to reach my goal of becoming a cosmetologist would be to graduate high school with good grades.
