The novel The Great Gatsby is a great book to read. The author is F. Scott Fitzgerald. This book is mainly about having a dream to be something and then you fall in love and you doing whatever you can to get what you want. Money is always the key factor in this book. It comes down to who has old money and who has new money. When you read this book there are many ways you can look at it. Some people say that Tom is the worst character in the book. Some say that Gatsby and Nick are the antagonist. To some people Daisy is a beautiful young women that is a sweet and loving character but the way I read this book was that Daisy is the true villain. She is the reason why everything happens the way it does. She is the reason why Gatsby lies and Tom cheats. She is also the reason why Gatsby, Tom and Nick do the things they do. Everything in this book revolves around Daisy. Daisy is a liar, she is careless, she is reckless and she is also a selfish gold digger. She is the problem in this book. She told Gatsby that she was going to wait for him to get back from the war but she didn’t.
