I want to start by stating that I agree with the majority of points you made in this weeks post. Especially when a crime is committed the media, especially news stations, are instantly there to report the crime. That being said, yes because all media sources are in competition with one another, the information given might be exaggerated. Moving on, I like that you stated the fact that shows based on the criminal justices system show that cases are solved in a few short days. However that is not the only elements these show weakly portray. To better explain, in shows like CSI Miami the agents will test DNA samples and fingerprints and get results back instantly. From my time working in forensics I can honestly say that that just does
Danny Greene was born in Cleveland, to parents John Henry Greene[1] and Irene Cecelia Greene (née Fallon). His father was born in Cleveland, Ohio,[2] but his mother was born in Pennsylvania.[2][3] Three days after his birth, Greene's mother died. He was called "Baby Greene" until his mother was buried, and was eventually named after his grandfather (Daniel John Greene). His father drank heavily and eventually lost his job as a salesman for Fuller Brush. After this, Danny temporarily moved in with his grandfather (a newspaper printer), who had also been recently widowed. Unable to provide for him, Danny's father placed him in Parmadale, a Roman Catholic orphanage in Parma, Ohio, three miles outside Cleveland.

On August 4, 2017 at approximately 2:40pm, Officer Lucas Griffin and I, Officer Kyeishia Evans, with the Ville Platte Police Department, was dispatched to 902 West Lincoln Street, Ville Platte, Louisiana, in reference to a business alarm. Upon arrival I witnessed a maroon 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe bearing license plate number ZTC679. I checked the vehicle and it was locked; however, I noticed the car was warm, as if the car had just been parked in the parking lot. I also noticed the back door of the business was opened. Officer Griffin and I checked the inside of the room; however, there was no door in the back room where you could enter the business. While checking the inside of the room we noticed damage to the tiles on the ceiling. I advised
The “Baby Boom” era occurred between the years of the late 1950s thru the 19970s and shaped America and its culture into the type of country it is today. It helps to understand these times to prevent history from repeating itself while better understanding how people were feeling during that time. Also, to better understand what was happening during that time by reading the literature that was written during that time period. Through Tim O’Brien’s “How to Tell a True War Story” to Ursula K. Le Guin’s “The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas”, they reflect the cultural, economic, political, and intellectual upheavals the United States was experiencing. These stories affect your way of thinking about these times, especially the war.

A. Danny Hoch is an American playwright born in 1970 in Brooklyn, New York who is known for his one-person shows [1]. Although he was raised in “nominally Jewish single-parent household” in Queens, he states that he grew up around hip-hop culture, which influenced his work immensely [2]. Hoch is an outspoken activist on racism, cultural appropriation, and gentrification in a modern age where it is “hip” to be black, latino, and the like. He has denied roles in a Tarantino movie and Seinfeld because he believed they were racist [3]. In 2000, he founded the Hip-Hop Theatre Festival [4].
Have you ever wondered why people seem to keep taking things that aren't theirs to take? We have a name for that we call it " STEALING". The Federal Bureau of Investigation "FBI" is taking the new found evidence to their advantage. In many cases even the FBI cant figure out what has happened and whom stole the evidence. In some situations the evidence isnt ever found it just somehow vanishes and never seen again.
Hayden Lynch was a lonely man. His family was killed in a car crash one year earlier. He was in the red on money and was behind on house payments. Finally, they cut his power and water. Winter was coming up and this put Hayden in a very poor situation. Not only did he not have power, food, or water, he was forced to moved to move out. He had nowhere to go. He walked the streets of his own town scouring for food. He came upon a alley. There was a fire at the end of the alley. Bad people were at the end of the alley but he had no choice. As he walked down the alley, there was a voice calling. It was a whisper saying “ Come...Change it… Change everything.” Hayden yelled “WHO’S THERE!!!” Out of the darkness a old woman came to be. She was hunched
Joe Flynn is just like any other twelve-year-old his age, except for one thing. Joe has witnessed a murder. The only thing is; no one believes him. Not his mother, and certainly not the detective assigned to the “alleged” case. At least not until dead bodies start popping up.
“The most important thing to remember is that what happened to you was not your fault,” Dr. Avis spoke in a soft voice. Danny cried harder at these words while the full impact of having delved back into a time in her life in which she had barely survived hit her.
“The Ron Clark Story” is such an inspirational movie in my opinion. I feel that this movie shows what dedication in teaching is all about. It shows that teachers care and have chosen their career in order to make a difference. Ron Clark was an outstanding teacher who was said to be able to raise test scores in any school he taught at. However, instead of choosing a simple, private school that already has high test scores, he chose to teach in an area where students were really struggling. He chose to help those that really needed it. The Ron Clark Story, in my opinion, is all about how much of a difference teachers can really make.
