Mixing genres and styles are not easy, but what is harder still, is staying relevant and above the rest, Deerhunter, an American indie rock band from Atlanta, Georgia has done just that and have seven full-length albums to proof it. Since 2001, Deerhunter has submerged themselves in neo-psychedelic, garage rock, shoegaze, and post-punk genres. I can still remember the first time when I listen to "Halycon Digest", their fifth full-length album. It was ultimately a good album, it had everything right from lyrics to instruments and musical composition but I knew deep down inside that something wasn't right about, it just did not quite stick to me as much as I wanted and I am still ashamed of having that same exact feeling for their seventh studio album Fading Frontier.
Fading Frontier is very much like that one girl in college who likes you, she's pretty, she's sweet and she should be every bit perfect for you. Everyone around you is expecting for both of you to get together, but you just can't. That feeling of blissful ignorance of reality and the blinding light of love isn't there. Fading Frontiers feels exactly like that, from the lo-fi presentation in songs like "Leather and Wood" to the psychedelic lullaby of "Breaker", Deerhunter just can't

Personally this is my favorite track of the album due to its dreamy composition, admittedly I am a sucker for dream-pop. Other songs like "Skinhead" has you imagine a young man walking down a street wearing 90s jeans while giving clinch inducing winks at passerby. "Skinhead" is one of the more fast-paced songs with it's fast beats and interlacing tambourines, this song seems to be everyone's favorite but not
Sitting Bull once quoted, “If I agree to dispose of any part of our land to the white people I would feel guilty of taking food away from our children's mouths, and I do not wish to be that mean” ( "Sitting Bull Quotes ). Sitting Bull was a kind and compassionate man that had admiration for the Lakota tribe and the tribe's land, and was also known to have led the Lakota tribe to safety during the many years of defiance against the new American policies. Recognized and admired by the Lakota tribe, Sitting Bull was one of the most famous Native American Chiefs who was known for his bravery to bring fair treatment to his people.
Butch Cassidy and his members of the Wild Bunch left a remarkable chapter in the history of old American West. Interestingly, Butch was no mean robber, but someone full of charm. The story of the group was made more interesting with the addition of Butch’s constant partner-in-crime, Sundance Kid.
All great legends in history must be honored for their sacrifice and leadership that marks a path in recent history. This is why one of the most patriotic and legendary warriors of the Old West known as Crazy Horse is still considered a historical symbol. Crazy Horse was a true American Indian whose independent and fierce spirit during a battle aids as an example of how a leader ought to be. His journey is a celebration of his time and his legacy. Let us reminisce about this era and how Crazy Horse arose to be a fearless Lakota leader.
Crazy Horse is apart of the Oglala Lakota tribe and is from Rapid City, SD. He lived from 1840 to 1877. Crazy Horse is most famous for “Battle of Little Bighorn” and resisting being put on a reservation. During this time he was constantly running and fighting. But, he surrendered eventually. I have known Madeline Slaughter since she was in eighth grade when she was asked to participate in marching band to fill an empty slot my freshman year. Since then I have always known her to be the type of person to always assist in whatever way possible. Our friendship started simply because she helped me laminate drill charts for marching band.

In today’s world, many people witness all these mass shootings, through their local news or through their own reliable source, and all these things that could easily make someone become very depressed. Unfortunately when some people become depressed or when things in life start to go severely downhill, alas, they turn to suicide instead of trying to get help from a dependable person. This happened to Hunter S. Thompson who committed suicide on February 20th, 2005. He was killed by what was diagnosed as a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Hunter S. Thompson was a penman and a politician, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who would go on to adventure all throughout the world, run for Sheriff in a Pitkin county, in the state of Colorado.
Fifteen years ago, Hunter Andrew Snelling was born on a hot summer day on August 3, 2001, in Jasper Indiana. He weighed 7 lbs and 9 oz and born on 9:14 p.m. His proud parents Lori Nugent and Andy Snelling.. Hunter also has 1 brother and his name is Evan and he’s also 13, and sometimes they don’t get along very well because Evan always invades Hunters teenage privacy.
A mascot is a person or thing that is supposed to bring good luck or that is used to symbolize a particular event or organization. A mascot is something every school has, whether it’s a person or an animal or something of that sort. Every school and college has a mascot. Some people take mascots as racial slurs some people don’t. Most people think that these mascots should be abolished because they feel as if they are racially stereotyped or just flat out rude in some ways. I went to a high school in a little city about an hour and 45 minutes from Lafayette called Houma. In Houma we have over a dozen schools, all having their own mascot of course. Out of all the schools in the city of Houma, I’ve only attended
In 1831 an indian child was born, of the Sioux Nation and the Hunkpapa Tribe. His father, Sitting Bull, and mother, Her-holy-door, did not name him Sitting Bull, he was named Jumping Badger. He was never called Jumping Badger, he was called Slow because of his willful and deliberate ways.
Do Not Resuscitate, "is a written physician's order that prevents the healthcare learn from initialing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the event that a patient's heart stops" (Earp, French, & Gilkey, 2008, p. 348). As a patient advocate, my goal is to be able to provide the upmost care to my patients. DNR policy is relatively what patients need to be aware of because it is their only chance of getting any wishes to be followed through towards the end. Yuen (2011) explains how with DNR there

Released in 2001 by Paramount pictures, Zoolander film raised $60m in revenues worldwide with $28m budget. Such numbers cannot be called successful, but Forbes contributor thinks that such nonfulfillment could have been related to the lack of marketing and a inadequate release date - right after 9/11 attacks.
