What is a hero? A hero is a person that helps someone and stands up for what is right.

Heroes are everywhere is our daily lives,anyone can become a hero even the least expected person. Everyone has a different definition to define what a hero is. I think that a hero is someone that is admired and has done some sort of act courage. Or they helped someone in anyway like saving peoples lives. A hero can also be someone who has achieved the impossible,also can be someone who left their life to help others.

When you think of heroes, you might think of Superman or someone like Batman. In reality heroes don't wear costumes. A hero is a person who does their best to accomplish something that can help people weather that is mentally or physically. Anyone can be a hero no matter what. Heroes are not classified by their age, gender, race, religion, or where they come from.

Ricky Martin once said, “Heroes represent the best of ourselves, respecting that we are human beings. A hero can be anyone from Ghandi to your classroom teacher, anyone who can show courage when faced with a problem. A hero is someone who is willing to help others in his or her best capacity.” Almost anyone can be a hero, as long as they have the courage and the maturity to understand and respect those who they attempt to help. Despite the fact that a hero cannot save everyone, being heroic is about placing others before oneself and strive to help those who need it the most.

A hero is one of many people. From firefighters to comic superheros, heros can be anything of anyone’s imagination. For instance such as Johnny from the outsiders, he was just a typical average teenager until he saved thouse kids. That is being a hero, taking action when it’s needed.

A hero can be fictional or realistic. A hero can be someone you know or a character out of a television show, comic book, etc. A hero is someone that is brave, strong, and someone you are able to look up to. Many people have different definitions of what their hero is like. It will be someone that can make you feel safe and secure.

Everyone has someone they consider a hero. Heroes can be anyone with astounding courage and strength. Individuals who choose to risk their own life to increase the happiness and fairness in others’ lives are heroes. A hero is someone who is daring, cunning, and humble. A great example of someone who is a hero is Neil Armstrong because he was daring, honorable, and, of course, brave.

What is a hero a hero is someone in my opinion who does something heroic or past presidents or a movie hero.Another thing Heroes are everyday people you just never know who it is. So A hero is someone When you are a hero it takes training and it takes confidence, passion, strong skills and heroes are usually positive thinkers.Heros manages stress and heroes have good coping skills heros live by values. Heroes are their own leader. In conclusion heroes stands up for what is right.

Heroism is when ´´Someone is dedicated to the part in saving or helping others´´. Even though a hero can be anybody, they need to see the little things before the big things. As if for example they can start by saving a cat from a tree to saving a person from a burning building. Start small then up yourself up. As you see, a hero takes time to be the next big thing, start small then help yourself up.

When someone says “hero” you automatically think of superman or batman, but you don't need superpowers to be a hero. You can be a hero by opening the door for an old lady, picking up trash on the sidewalk, or giving food and water to the homeless man you passed on the street. You don’t need to jump in a burning building and save a baby, just giving up your time for other people is enough. Heroism is being caring, hard working, and putting others before yourself, even if you aren't being treated the same way.

What is a hero? Are soldiers at war heroes? What about Malala Yousafzai and Rosa Parks? Are they considered heroes? The Merriam Webster dictionary describes a hero as “a person who is greatly admired for great acts”. Yet, is this definition enough to define what heroism truly is? Heroism is not about executing epic acts and gaining glory or fame from it. True heroes put others’ needs before theirs; never give up when faced with overwhelming obstacles and stand up for their beliefs regardless of the consequences.

What would you do if your loved one or best friend was in danger? Would you run and hide to save yourself or would you be a hero and save your friend or loved one? “Heroes don’t always wear capes, badges, or uniforms. Sometimes, they support those who do” (Andrea Randall). Andrea is saying that a hero does not always have to look like one. Even if that means by saving one person, that is one person less that died. A hero is someone who risks their lives to not regret not helping save lives but to be brave and save those they can.

Police, fireman, EMT’s, and the military are heroes, because they are self sacrificing, thinking of others before helping themselves. An example of heroism can be seen in the police and EMT’s that risk personal safety to help others. They are also the one’s who risked their lives during the Vegas shooting to go and help the people who were injured, or the ones who were just in shock. On the other side people could have heros that are celebrities; they may inspire people who are less fortunate to strive it improve their lives. Heroism is displayed by great bravery and the dedication to help others. It is to inform the youth that they do not have to be a superhero to be a hero.

All people in the wolrd have heros. For every person it may be differnt however they all seem to come together since they all have great meaning. The meaning of what a hero is all means the same however, the differance is how people put it to action. In the dictionary hero means someone who is admired and/or is idealized for their courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities. My hero is my aunt Michelle because she affects me in such a positive way because she is supportive, caring and insparational.
