Happiness is something everyone has at some time or another. For some people it is very hard to find it. There are many meanings of happiness because not all people feel the same about the meaning of the word. My own personal definition of the word is when you find someone of something that gives your own life a purpose. Obviously that’s not the only reason why people feel happy. Another big thing is that happiness isn’t something you have to pursue, it needs to be something you want to pursue. There are many ways to pursue happiness in your life but don’t expect to just go look up tutorial on how to find it. There has to be that certain drive inside of you to go out and get it yourself. Whether it’s helping people or doing good things for
Everyone has distinct viewpoints of happiness. It is subjective. Happiness for a lot people is a form of something a person does that makes them comfortable or something they really appreciate doing. Some people say happiness is hanging out with their loved ones. Others say happiness is when they distance themselves from everyone to do their own thing in their own world. Since people have an alternate viewpoint of happiness, the definition isn't particular and the meanings are diverse.
What does it mean to be happy? There are so many definitions of the word “Happiness” because it means different things to different people. According to oxford dictionary, happiness means “The state of being happy”. For some other people happiness can be purchasing of things like clothes, shoes, gadgets. Many people feel happy when they go shopping and get new stuffs, but is that truly happiness? From my own point of view to be happy you have to understand that everything near you is good, you have to be happy with the people around you, do things you know that will make you happy and don’t think about others opinion. Like the say everything happens for a reason, don’t let your past bother you, rather think about your present
Happiness is something that all people, no matter what race, gender, or social class, strive for. Based on lifestyle or perspective each person has their independent idea of what happiness is, but everyone shares an end goal to live their definition of a happy life. Many people, though, struggle in finding their way to this goal. They face hardships and challenges that test their happiness every day. Happiness, though somewhat indirectly, does take learning and training to discover and maintain.
According to the Dictionary, “happiness is the mental or emotional state of well being which can be defined by others. A pleasurable or satisfying experience.”. Of course that’s true, the feeling of happiness is what it’s scientifically defined as, but happiness is much more than that. Happiness could be a certain sound, a smell, even feeling a certain piece of clothing or a thick warm blanket. People spend hours even years trying to work for what they think is happiness. They work for hours to get large amounts of money, but they never find the happiness their looking for. That’s because happiness isn't materialistic, happiness isn't something you can buy with expensive items. Even though some people believe you can buy happiness, that’s
of his or her future. However, there is one huge aspect missing—happiness. Happiness is one of the easiest yet most fulfilling goals to have in life. Additionally, when one is happy he or she is more likely to encounter fortune, fame, and success. But just how easy is it to be happy? First, one must understand the biological reasons for happiness. Second, one must take action. Bottom line, happiness is a choice that everyone must make.
The one thing every living being has in common with each other is that, everyone is in search of happiness. The definition of happiness varies according to the needs of each person. For the same person too, happiness or what they consider to be bliss varies with each moment in time. Every deed we do in this world is with the intent of gaining the perfect state of perpetual happiness. Some chase money in the hopes that immense wealth will confer upon them unlimited bliss. We surround ourselves with luxurious items for the same reason. Others focus on their family and friends for, what more can a person want than being surrounded by loved ones ? And then, there are those people for whom being healthy is the mantra for being happy. The fourth
Essentially, seeking happiness is necessary in life. We often hope to find happiness from other people, other things around us and forget that we can create it by ourselves. The novel “The happiness project” by Gretchen Rubin is sufficient evidence. The author states, “I am happy – but I’m not as happy as I should be.”(13) Then she started a project within a year to change her life and seek for a happier life. By making a list of things she has to do in the next twelve months, the author have done many things which affects her “Vitality” (1), her “Marriage” (38), her “Leisure” (112), her “Friendship” (141),etc. positively so that she can achieve her goal, which is a life full filed of happiness as she dreamed before. We can also do that. We know that if everyone of us set a goal and live purposely, we are all happy. However, we can be happier if we know how to change ourselves on the right way. We can make ourselves happy by doing simple things in our everyday life.
Everyone has different views about the definition of happiness. Some people think that happiness is to have a lot of money ,and others think supreme power is the greatest happiness. However, these two kinds of points are not what I want , though I like money and power. Former American president Franklin Roosevelt has said "happiness lies not in the mere possession of money ;it lies in the joy of achievement ,in the thrill of creative effort".As he said, having a lot of money just gives us material satisfaction, but the kind of joy and satisfaction that comes from the heart is true happiness. In present-day society we need money to live, if we have no money we wouldn't be able to survive ,so without the protection of basic materials, happiness is a joke. Therefore, from the premise of ensuring a material foundation,I think happiness is that my family will always be with me.As the French woman writer George San said "there is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved".I love my family, and they love me too,I hope I can live with them forever.Honor my parents, do not wait until I lose them only to realize how to cherish them.
Happiness can be achieved in many different ways. “Focusing on anything but your own happiness, like how about someone else’s, your kids, having someone special in your life or doing simply doing good for someone else might actually make you happy?”- Kenny Biggs.
Happiness is an absolute necessity throughout everyday life. Be that as it may, what on earth is happiness? A few people are happy when they get a raise, while others are glad when they've discovered their genuine romance, as for me; I find happiness by spending time with my loved ones. Clearly, individuals will have a distinct meaning of happiness. Why is it hard to characterize, or rather find and accomplish happiness? I think the real determinant lies in a man's state of mind. As I would see it, there is little relationship between the conditions of individuals' lives and how cheerful they are. A minute's appearance should make this self-evident. We know individuals who have a moderately simple and agreeable life, but then are basically

The reason is that everyone has the different points of view depending on their various kinds of cultures and the differences in
Everyone in life has their own perspective of happiness, everyone has their own struggles and obstacles that they go through . Individually, happiness does not include materialistic items because they only last for the moment. Happiness is when you are content with yourself within and do not care about others judging you for you. People in our society often think that having the finer things in life and changing their appearance will help them cope with the flaws inside of themselves. Instead of being satisfied with who they are and what they already have, they tend to go above and beyond their means as an individual. This makes it harder to become lively because people are consistently trying to find happiness outside of themselves when in
The definition of happiness is “feeling or showing pleasure or contentment” (Dictionary.com). That’s what the items have, happiness. Happiness is everything for a human being and there is no life without happiness. Happiness becomes an end result for a person life. Human beings do things for a reason and to achieve a result, therefore, I always keep myself happy throughout day. However, sometimes life could make it hard for us stay happy, but no matter what, we always need to keep our sense of humor, stay strong, and put happiness first over anything.
Happiness. Although many people can give simple definitions, it still has so many complexities to it. It can’t be traded, bought, or even measured. Ye it is the most desired thing that all people seek. They desire happiness and constantly want to feel happy all the time. But happiness is not vendored to everyone like a 24/7 food store. It’s not physical in anyway much like the air we breath. So is there really some sort of way to actually determine when happiness is obtained? How does one gain happiness when they lack it? Is it simply a feeling like sadness and anger? Does social class, religion or ethnicity equal to the feeling of joy?
