Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include free trips around the sun, not to mention free oxygen. Many things aren’t free to people which is why my mom prompted me to get a job. She got tired of investing her hard-earned money on my lavish needs. My first real job was a cashier for Chick-fil-A, in a food court at a local mall. Chick-fill-A is often merited for their service and food, but is still considered fast-food. As much as I dreaded working in fast food, it taught a considerable number of life lessons. Most importantly, Working at Chick-fil-A not only allowed me to understand personal self-growth through circumstances, but to value it.

Since it’s opening in 1962, Taco Bell is extremely innovative among leading them to rank fifth in QSR domestically. They overlooked the obvious when no one created the Dorito shell into a taco. Dr. Russell reminds us every class to not to forget to include the obvious items and Taco Bell beat their competitors to this niche. Management of the company incorporated focus groups to make sure they perfected this product before its launch. They went through a lot of trial and error. This is what all the leaders mean when they say practice makes perfect. What I view as the most important factors that have contributed to the growth of the company are innovation, ethics, and listening. In-N-Out Burger is a fast food restaurant chain with more than 300 locations across the five states of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Texas. It is one of the most popular fast food restaurants in the American Southwest, and preferred by a lot of people. The restaurants interior has a 1950’s burger joint appeal to it with its checkered floor, framed pictures of 57 Chevys and tiled walls. In-N-Out Burger is widely known for their simplistic menu, which consists solely of hamburgers, fries, and milkshakes. There are no words that can truly describe my love for In-N-Out. This is my favorite “go-to” restaurant because they offer quality, freshness, and excellent customer service.

Chicken! Chicken! Chicken! Southerners are crazy about it! Chicken is an iconic meal, from grandma 's kitchen to fast food restaurants. Sometimes grandma 's home cooked chicken is not always readily available, so what is the next best option? This is my review of two very popular fast food chains, the main item on each menu is none other than chicken. These two restaurants go by the name Chick-fil-A and Zaxby 's. Chick-fil-A has a bit of an interesting story, with the franchise being very comfortable with the Christian faith. Because of this, all locations are closed on Sundays and holidays. Information from their website shows that Chick-fil-A cares for its community and is involved in several fundraisers for churches and schools. Zaxby 's observes normal hours and does not really take part in community events. I visited the Chick-fil-A over on Harris Lane in Bessemer, Alabama at around noon. This Chick-fil-A just opened a few years back and has been very popular since. On a different occasion, I visited the Zaxby 's just a few miles down the road from Chick-fil- A, located on Academy Drive. The website describes Zaxby 's as a “chain eatery serving up fried chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches, and other American comfort eats”. These two competitors offer very similar menu options, but completely different environments. Although Chick-fil-A has better customer service, Zaxby 's has tastier food and an overall better ambiance.

Sipping on iced-cold sweet tea, I watch multiple waiters gather up and begin line dancing to loud country music that plays in the background. By the time im almost halfway through with my beverage and almost full due to the warm, freshly baked rolls, a smiling waitress brings my family our food. She kindly places down our meal, tells us to enjoy and leaves to let us chow down. Resting on the plate in front of me is a thick, juicy piece of rib eye steak thats paired with loaded mashed potatoes and freshly cooked vegetables. Texas Roadhouse has come to be one of my favorite restaurantst to dine at. They provide excellent food complimented by great service and the unique atmosphere of the restaurant is full of energy and always has some type of entertainment going on.

Cheeseburgers are very delicious! They are very fun to make. I’m one of those people that like to make things and set things up, just like a party planner. On my burger, there has to be a little bit of everything. The cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, bacon and ketchup.

Eat, drink, and play! Dave & Buster’s in Ontario promises guest with nonstop fun by delivering those three words. It is the only place that one can find American gourmet food, innovative drinks, and the best arcade games. It is also the best way one can catch a game as Dave & Buster’s has become one of the best sport bars in the Inland Empire.

Golden Corral is probably one of my favorite buffet’s because the food is pretty good and it isn’t really expensive. In the summertime my grandpa took my brother and I there almost once a week. He likes it because he knows a lot of people there, senior citizens get good discounts, and because it isn’t far away. To be honest I’m not really a big fan of buffet’s, because people can be very nasty and everyone has to touch the same things.

Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) is a well-known restaurant chain in the U.S. that was founded in 1982 by Jim Disbrow and Scott Lowery (Whitfield, 2012). Located in 47 US states, BWW has more than 800 outlets, more than half of which are franchising (Stern, 2012). In 2010 the company opened its subsidiary in Canada. Total company’s assets have approximately $500 million (Stern, 2012). BWW restaurants specialize in chicken wings under unique sauces. The outlets also have sport bars with large menus including various salads, burgers and appetizers. On my grill I had what makes a bar-b-que which is roasted corn my all time favorite. My corn comes out so crunchy and juicy, especially when I put a lot of butter, lemon pepper, and lucas it taste so good, and I love when I bite into it because the juices squirt out on to my face and that’s when you know its comes out perfect. My other favorite I love to cook is sausage I love hear the way it sizzles and smells while it sizzles it’s like music to my ears. Then when you bite into it the juices squirt out into my mouth and on my hand. The juice from biting the sausage makes it so great because it leaves a mouthwatering flavor that you want to savor for a life time.

At times when we are in a hurry, hamburgers are one of the easiest foods to eat while on the go. No matter what time it is whether its breakfast, lunch, or dinner we grab a hamburger and might throw in some fries and a soda to go with it. Many restaurants are known to make their hamburgers in a specific way. Preparation differs from restaurant to restaurant. But what really makes a hamburger taste so delicious? Depending where you go they will taste different but they are all structured the same. It consists of a bun, a ground meat patty and often ingredients such as cheese, onion slices, lettuce and other condiments.

Barbecue is one of my favorite foods. I have always enjoyed going into some greasy barbecue dive, listening to the blues, and feeling pretty cool. Two joints where I have eaten are Big D's Piggy Strut Soul Pit Bar-B-Q in Clemson, South Carolina, and Hy's Deli right across from the School campus. Even though both of these restaurants pride themselves on their barbecue, Big D's is obviously the better.

Once I stepped inside the restaurant I automatically could hear the music playing at a moderate level and the laughter of the customers. Right off the back the restaurant's ambiance had a positive vibe. Mindful, it was a Saturday late afternoon. Mary Jane Burger and Brew is a local restaurant trying to stay true to its past. The granddaughter of the original owner now runs the place with the intention of serving good quality food where the ingredients are fresh, mouth watering, and surely not filled with antibiotics and all that other genetically modified elements found in processed foods. The vintage, rustic looking place, holds a small town atmosphere with a big taste.

As far back as I can remember, I have always liked going out to eat. Two of my favorite restaurants are Jake’s and McDonald’s. Though both are places to dine they have their differences in their ambiance, waiting, and expense. When deciding where to go to eat, I have three things to think about. I must consider the atmosphere or where I want to go. The amount of time I have is another consideration. The amount of money that I am able to spend is a big influence.

By comparing with other restaurants, I think it is better than the restaurant I usually went. Which is called the Asian Fusion Café. Asian Fusion Café is also a Chinese restaurant. It’s near the ASU campus. You can walk there easily in 10 to 15 minutes. The menu covers with many foods, so you can order most of the Chinese food there. Probably because of the year it built.
