I was in my room getting ready for another day at college. I was running a little late. I was gelling my wavy brown hair for school. I was looking in the mirror, and I saw my green eyes and remembered that I was having a party at my friend 's apartment. My friend Penny was having the party, and she knew a lot more people than I do. I left my apartment to go to my classes and I ran into a strange man muttering “Wild goose, wild goose, I want a wild goose.” This man was a ragedy looking man with a musty smell to him. he could not walk straight or look straight unless he had a piece of cardboard in his hands. I just thought the cardboard soothed his anxiety. The man bumped into him and put something in my pocket. I did not have time to look …show more content…
I couldn’t believe it, I thought that I had just been dreaming. I tried to “wake” myself, but couldn’t. When I figured this out I was scared out of my mind. I remembered the man who bumped into him. I knew that that the man put something in my pocket. So I looked to see what it was… Nothing, nothing was in my pockets. I thought that he had just dropped it.
The day has gone by, school is done for the day. I went back to my dorm, and realized that I wasn’t hot or cold that the temperature in my dorm didn’t bother him. The first thing that comes to mind is that I was not getting hot or cold anymore, i’m fine. I was getting ready for Penny’s party, I was going to wear a t-shirt with a tornado saying, “I can spin you round and round, until i’m all spun out.” When I was changing my pants I noticed a burn in my skin that was red, orange, and black. I had no clue what it was. When I put my other pants on and went outside I felt the cold on my skin and the man was back this time he was asking no one if they were cold. When he stopped talking he looked right at me and said
“Well are you”?
“Me”?
“Yea you, you 're the only person here.”, he said like I was crazy.
“Yes i’m very cold.”
“Well that’s what happens when the rock of towers sits too long on your skin.” I was the one who put the pieces together and figured out that the man had put a rock of towers in my pocket and must have tore through my skin, and whenever it was hot or cold I would feel
Traveling is one of my family’s favorite things to do. The family has visited numerous places throughout the United States, however, none are as memorable as Atlanta, Georgia. In Atlanta, there are many places to go and sights to see such as: Cola-cola factory, Cabbage Patch Kids Factory, Under Ground Mall, the Zoo, Atlanta Braves Stadium, Six Flags Over Georgia, Stone Mountain Park, and the Atlanta Aquarium, are all in or near the city of Atlanta. The three that we visit on every trip to Atlanta are Six Flags, Stone Mountain, and the Atlanta Aquarium.
I covered my mouth to keep it shut and not say anything. He was wearing black boots and black pants. I could see him running towards the open window in a hurry. Maybe he thought i jumped out or something. He began to run towards the stairs. “He’s leaving” i whispered… But there was no answer, I realized that the call was cut. The man was stepping down the stairs… when all of a sudden there was a loud ringtone coming from my hand. There was then a panic in my heart. The man rushed back into my room and entered, There was a moment of silence when all i could see was the man’s black boots staring straight at my eyes. When suddenly there was a powerful pull dragging me out of the bed. Closing my eyes all i could feel is was extrucenary pain all over my body, every second. I reached out for anything near by so I could at least fight. I felt something from the tip of my fingers. I got a grip of something and swung as hard as I could, I hit him hard. The man fell back. I opened my eyes and there he was, Lying on the ground. Weak and hurt i got up and slowly started walking out of my room and down the stairs. My whole body hurt it was hard to move. I heard the man start to get up, I was terrified. I decided to walk to the basement door to try and hide. I remembered the small door that was in the basement. And went gently to open the door. Weak and in pain I was able to get down the old sketchy stairs and move some boxes to open the door. I opened the door. On the other side was a little room. It was dark and had a little bit of light coming from the outside. Maybe the moon light from the outside. I sat on the small corner of the room.I wrapped my arms around my body to try and stay warm. It was quiet for a second. Until I heard the basement door slam open. The man's foot steps were loud and you could tell he wasn't very happy. I could easily read exactly where he was. He was looking for me,
The air was warming up our part of the state Kansas City , I wasn't thinking . I stopped for a second I felt a cold breeze in my face , the wind was blowing at a slow pace it was warm but yet cold . I went inside , where the tv was already turned out . On the table there was a cup of Starbucks , with French toast . Someone was in here , in my own house , and since I was in the cabin , which was ten miles away from my house . I didn't notice who entered my house . I grabbed a baseball bat , set the keys down on the table and went to the living room . On the couch I found my friend, maylee . " What are you doing here maylee ?" I asked . She was just laying down eating a bag of lays , like any other white girl would . Ummm no wonder the Starbucks on the table .
It was the day I had been waiting for, yet dreading at the same time. Today was the day I had the opportunity to try out for the 10 and under Pittsburgh Diamond Stars travel softball team. I rolled out of bed around 8 o’clock in the morning, and urged my dad to go to a field with me to get a little extra practice before the tryout. At the time of the tryout, I had just turned 8 years old, and the majority of the other girls trying out were around 10 years old. My parents were apprehensive about allowing me to try out due to the fact that I was so young; I badgered them about it to no end. I think they said yes just to get me to be quiet about it.
I jolt awake. “Must have been a bad dream” I thought to myself. I looked around and was shocked at my surroundings. A destroyed hospital room. The paint on the walls is peeling and it smells like old sheets and medicine. The beds are covered in rust and pieces of the ceiling have fallen on the floor. The room is dark, but the sun is shining through the barricaded windows. I rip the needles out of my arms and struggle to stand up. I put on my clothes that were still neatly folded under the bed. I walk out of the room. There were blood stains on the wall and random hospital supplies thrown on the floor. My heart starts to race. I try to think of what could have happened. While I was thinking I was snapped out of my thoughts by a banging behind me. I turn around to see a door, bolted shut. I decide not to open it. I begin to walk
This is the big game of the season, it’s football time and this game is to see who plays North Scott in the finals. It’s a game of rivals with the DeWitt Sabers and the Maquoketa Cardinals. These two teams hate each other and who ever wins this game will have huge bragging right. It’s a Friday at Birney Field here in DeWitt, the Cardinals get to pick the side of the coin for the coin flip.
Walking home, suddenly I realize that nothing looks familiar.. I get out my flashlight that I have in my backpack. When I turn it on it starts flickering. It eventually starts working and I just keep walking down the alley. “POW” “POW” “POW.” Gunshots?!? Why is there gunshots. Is there someone after me? Then my flashlight turns off, its pitch dark I can't see anything. Then I hear screaming “AHHHHHHHH.” I start running in a straight line because I can't see anything. All of the sudden someone throws a bag over my head and knocks me out. I wake up tied in a chair with just a light. Thinking to myself “Am I in a room?” Then someone just starts
I heard the door shut and felt like I was alone, it was still pitch black so I was not sure of it. As the time passed it began to get hotter as if I were in a sauna, I began to sweat and panic. After approximately thirty minutes he had come back in the room but I didn’t just hear one but two voices speaking, I was not able to understand what they were discussing, all I heard was mumbling. As I was trying to eavesdrop on their conversation before I could hear anything they had begun to drag me to another place I was not sure of. I began to wonder why I was not able to see anything but pitch black until I had remembered something very important. I was so caught up with being very frightened that I had forgotten that I was born without my
Getting close to the campus, I was very bored(participial) along with my brothers, the whole family was getting tired. Finally, we arrived at the campus it was dark now, it was nice I just didn’t think much of it. We dove around for a bit and finally we stopped at Gunthers, an old hotel(appositive). It was a very eerie place, one of the creepiest places I have ever been too, it was like a ghost town. We got our room key and began walking to our room, it had dead animals, and creepy baby dolls behind glass displays, flickering lights, also zero other people in there. I did not like the feeling of the place at all. When we arrived at our room, a blast of frigid air hits me in the face. It had a mysterious smell too it, I did not like it at all so I went to bed immediately so I could get out of there as soon as possible. We woke up around eight in the morning. We were headed to a place called Dan’s
I was on top of a bed, wrapped up in a blue blanket when I woke up. Duke was at the end of the bed, sleeping. I sat up from the bed, feeling a bit of pain though it wasn't as much as before. I looked down at the clothes I was wearing, which was some leggings, white socks and a blue and grey striped shirt. I looked around the room seeing that besides the bed there was a window, a bookshelf, a desk and one of those office chairs.
I woke up on a cold metallic table there were wires connected to me, and the first thing I saw was this man look at me then he ran away. I was confused to why he done this. There was this mirror I looked into it and wondered what was wrong with me. Am I ugly, am I weird looking, or am I scary. I had greenish skin, I had a bar running through my neck, black hair that resembled yarn. My clothes were very formal like a businessman. My head was shaped like a block, and my eyes were tented with yellow. Each time I tried to talk it came out as a “mmmmrrrr”.
It is mine. The golden sun that shines and kisses the tops of my shoulders. The wisps of white clouds traveling within a baby blue sky. The gentle breeze that coils itself around my arms providing relief from the warming sun. The sapphire sea and its serene waves rolling gently out to shore onto the finely grained sand. It is all mine.
I walked down the street with my hands down my pockets of my black, ripped jeans. As I exhale, my hot breath formed a faint fog in the cold weather as if I was smoking. My skin was as cold as the winter wind blows that I can feel it to my bones. But I ignore the feeling.
My head was sore, my body was aching, and everything seemed hazy. I was in a room, a dark room, which had an unpleasant odor to it. I was tied up to a wooden chair. My hands were wrapped up, and my legs were pinned down to the the legs of the chair. I was struggling, trying to get loose, every muscle in my body was fighting against the pain. I held in my tears, hoping that I can get out of this diminutive, and enclosed 4 by 4 room. Many hours had passed by, and there was still no ray of hope in sight. Unexpectedly, a shadowy figure approached towards the room. The man was wearing black jeans, a black sweater, and a black hat, and carried a
I awoke with a throbbing headache which soon heightened my senses towards the outside world, it was cold and dark, with a sense of death in the air. After I climbed out of my cot a spine tingling scream filled the air which was usual, but this one sounded familiar in a way that made me cringe. It was an old friend whom I had not seen in years. As I ran out of my bunker, I stood watching as a woman was dragged by her hair into the alley by the Hungry and the woman cried for help only to get hit repeatedly until she
