The situation was great for our team that day, The score stood at four to two, with our team going “hooray” Everybody was cheering for Casey and his turn; But, our team was confident and would make their’s burn.

As Cooney and Barrows, both strike out, We gained hope for winning, while they started to doubt, The crowd kept cheering for Mudville Nine, Although we still kept our desire to shine.

There were two people before Casey, who were to bat, But by the looks of it, they seemed more like those who chat, Flynn went up to bat, surprised us by hugging the base, Our team had still not given up and knew that we could ace.

Casey swung the bat a second time, and the umpire shouted, “Strike two!” The crowd become angered and so was Casey’s crew, The crowd started shouting, “Fraud!” and were mad, Our team was ecstatic since Casey never played this bad.
