Haunted House The night was Tuesday October 31st - Halloween night! I, Jackson, was coming home from a halloween party that my friend Jim had at his home. I have been friends with Jim my whole life and was excited to go to his party. Jim’s house is a very nice house and I love going over there, but the one thing I don’t like is that it is located in the middle of the forest. On the way home from the party my car starting making a weird sound…..crik crak and then boom! I thought to myself, “there goes my engine”. I got out of my car and the smoke from the engine was thick as soup! I looked around for help and noticed there was a house in the middle of the forest. The house was very old and rickety, with vines crawling out of the windows like they were people trying to escape. While I didn’t want to even go near the scary house, I needed help so I decided to take a chance. I knocked on the door and no one answered. Then all of a sudden, just as I was about to leave, door swung open! The door opened with such force that it hit my phone out of my hand, sending it to its death! I walked in the house and up the stairs, searching from someone to help me. As I walked up the stairs the floor made a creepy, crik-crak sound and then everything happended at once - a shadow passed right in front of me, then the front door slammed shut, then the lights turned on there was a scream so loud that it could break glass. Then I looked outside and my car is not
And all of a sudden we hear the high winds screeching creepily from outside our house, the branches were loudly scratching and scraping against the house loudly. As I looked around I got more and more freaked out. There were boxes everywhere creating shadows from our flashlight and creating darkness that the flashlight couldn't fill. My entire family was scared, as scared as a chipmunk would be if a lion was in it’s tree. My Dad was searching for something in a sea of darkness, my mom trying to comfort my now crying siblings with a horrifying worried look on her face and me thinking to myself, When will it be done, what damage will it do and Oh No. As I thought I heard something crack from outside of my house, and then
I unbuckled and went to my passenger door, I pulled the handle to open the door but it didn't work. I slammed my body against the door but it still wouldn't open. The flames getting bigger, the car filling with more smoke. I looked back into the back seat where all of my stuff that I had moved out of my summer college dorm just the night before was sitting there. I climbed to the back and got the back driver door opened and I crawled out. I could hear the man from the other car screaming in anger. “What do you think you’re doing?” He said “Didn’t you see my blinker?” I smelled the smoke from the car. The crackling from the car and hearing other people calling nine-one -one. I pulled my phone out and called my mother. She answered so calmly like I just needed directions. I said “Mom I had a wreck”. She then began to get concerned and ask me what had happened. I looked at the car to describe exactly how it was but by this time the flames were to the back doors. I told her “Mom the car is on fire!” She told me that I need to calm down and listen carefully. She told me you need to get your license and registration out of the car so you can give them to the
It is present day in a small town known as Salem, MA. Its getting closer and closer to Halloween. I see the leaves are beginning to change, the nights are getting cooler, the sounds of tractors in the field harvesting crops, the sight of pumpkins everywhere decorating houses with faces and designs carved into them surround the neighborhood. Salem, MA is a very quiet town where everyone knows everyone and everyone gets along, for the most part.
I was walking along the sidewalk on a brisk Autumn night as leaves crunched beneath my feet. Eerie fog rolled out along the road and brought a chill down my spine. I began to pick up my pace as I wanted to get home as fast as possible. The streets looked like a ghost town, no one was outside and only the dim streetlights lit my path. I took out my cellphone and attempted to call my mother, but it went right to voice mail. Just as i was pocketing my phone I heard a disturbing cackle. At that moment I began sprinting not wishing to stay and find out who or what made that sound. I was about half a mile from my house when I heard the disturbing noise again. Being in a pure state of terror I overlooked a pothole which I promptly stepped in and
It was the perfect night for an adventure through a haunted house. My cousins Mariah and Tyina were planning to join me on a October 31st night to remember. The first thing the three of us did was get dinner and talk about how we were kind of nervous to go and walk the haunted house. After dinner we all got in the car and drove to our destination and then we bought the tickets and were waiting to get in. We all felt as if we had butterflies in our stomachs. As we were about to walk through the door to the haunted house we were startled because of all the strange sounds that we were hearing as we walked in. Finally we were able to look around. We were not so scared until Tyina had stumbled upon a mysterious door.
It started like an ordinary Friday night; the school football team unsurprisingly suffered another loss. After dropping a friend home, I began a fateful drive home. Driving through the an unfamiliar neighborhood, I found myself following a black Land Rover. Very suddenly, the SUV stopped. I thought it was strange but I stopped, giving maximum distance between our vehicles. Out of nowhere, the Land Rover jerked backwards, accelerating at me so quickly I could not react. The SUV hit me, tearing off my bumper and denting my hood. From my point of view, it was clear to see
On August 16, 2006, at exactly 03:00, normality for Fiona Berman ceased to exist and The Richmond Haunting began.
I thought that the family wouldn't care they would just think i was in the backyard, i would only be a couple minutes i just want to explore. I walked in the middle of the alley and all i could hear was the birds chirping and the trees blowing. I walked up and down getting all of these new smells and sounds. But out of nowhere i heard the noise again, the same noise that truck mad. I turned around to the sight of a bright red car shooting down the street. I guess the person didn't see me because it didn't slow down at all, if anything it sped up. I had no time to run away because i was filled with shock i just fell to the ground. I closed my eyes and hoped that i wasn't going to die or if i was already dead. After being scarred for my like for about a whole minute i got up off the floor and looked up. The bright red car was now at the end of the alleys still going as fast as it was. I'm alive! I thought that i would have died, did the car go over me or around me i thought. I didn't know if i went under the car or not but the only thing i knew was that i was safe. I didn't want to risk anymore so i ran back to my house, hopped the fence and went through the cat
In an instant the car didn’t stop. Our car was bigger than it so it ricocheted off us. My mom’s car airbags deployed at 400 miles per hour, but my mom put her arm out to stop mine. The doctor said if she hadn’t done that, I would’ve broken a few bones in my face, and maybe my neck. Meanwhile in the other car, he went flying in the other direction, luckily he didn’t have a passenger because the whole side of the car was smashed in. After the airbags deployed, she anticipated hitting the telephone pole. My mom had taken this route to work everyday for 6 years, but she was wrong. We drove straight into the soybean field. My mom couldn’t touch the brake to stop the car so we drove through half of the field before stopping. Splosh, splosh of all the water and mud splashing as we got out of the car. My mom yells my name to make sure I am okay, then we hustled over to the other man’s car.
I turned on my flashlight, it was the first thing that came to my mind. As, the bright light flashed its way on, were the “shadow” I saw a couple seconds ago was gone, it must have gone back into the house have to check this out. I decided to go into the “Haunted Mansion”, I walked in and every step I took, the wooden floor made a loud “CREAK!!!” The lights are so dim, that you can’t see anything far away into the darkness, this was literally a maze. I walked until I noticed there was a staircase heading up to this second floor. I took a couple steps towards the stairs then All of sudden, the most creepiest sound in history of sounds filled my ears, it was the sound of tiny footsteps of children running around… I took one step onto the stairs and it made a huge noise. Then the running noise stopped. I listen, my heart stopped……
Next thing we did was run to the safe and grabbed the shotgun it had already had rounds in it. Me and my brother we aiming at the basement door we had finger on the trigger ready to shoot. Nothing happened we opened the door and inspected the basement. NOTHING WAS THERE we were really spooked. I kept the shotgun next to me if I heard it again. But before I went
The day before this disheartening happening, my mother and I had went to see the movie Incarnate. To save their lives in the movie, they had to jump out the window. That chilling movie was the cause that kept me up all night; however, I was determined to make myself fall asleep. Eventually, I drifted off into a light sleep, only to be awakened by thunderous knocks on the doors and windows. These knocks were so powerful it sounded as if the door was bellowing out for help. It was four in the morning when I finally fell asleep. Mother said that she recalled hearing car doors, but didn’t think anything about them. The mystery man, who was trying to get into the house, came to my window first. I flew out of
A few minutes later, I could hear somebody walking around on my front porch. I was panicking. I grabbed my phone and ran outside. I was going to escape from the alley. I started to walk around knocking on doors. Nobody answered, I started to think that everyone wasn’t home or sleeping. I barley walked away from home, and then I turned
High upon a lonely hill surrounded by a great dark forest, stood an ancient, crumbling manor, known as the Haunted House. The windows were all smashed and it looked like the house was used a long time ago and was never used again. The font gates were as old as the hills. It belonged to a greedy old man, he was as short as a stump, he was really grumpy and fat who everyone said he was a wizard. Even though he owned the immense haunted house he didn’t dare to go inside because he was frightened like a child in dark, so he lived in the small cottage in the grounds of the manor, with just his black cat for company. He was as lonely as the master who has go to war, but hews happy, because he had a true love. His true love was gold, and he had
When I went upstairs to look there was a game room and bathroom and a little lap sitting on a table. I went more towards the lamp. Zoom!!! The lamp slides off the table and hits the wall and breaks. I run down stairs shaking. I tripped over a loose board. I hit my head on the stairs I felt like it was the end. After a few minutes I woke up in the basement I was thinking “ How did I get down here”. Then I looked up and I a little boy was looking at me. He says “ Are you ok”? I looked at him “yes thanks” for helping me. You look scared. Yes I am I came here to explore it. I fell down the stairs and hit my head as the lamp fell off the table. Sorry about that was my dad
