Riding with my older sister, Alex, when she first started driving was terrifying. The car swerved and jerked as she sped down the highway. Sitting in the backseat, my eyes were constantly wide with fear, and I often found myself gripping the handle on the door until my knuckles turned white. Whenever a car approached, my heart began to beat rapidly out of fear that she would hit it. However when my other sister, Emily, started driving, I enjoyed riding with her. She drove the speed limit and rarely swerved out of the lines. I could calmly sit in the backseat with my hands lying in my lap, my heart at ease. On the other hand, Emily always tried finding the spot closest to the football field even if it meant squeezing into a tight spot or parallel parking.
In addition to parking differently, Alex and Emily are also opposites when it comes to distracted driving. Alex is a distracted driver, but Emily is not. Whenever Alex drives, she is always multitasking, fixing her makeup, eating, and messing with the radio. However, Emily only wants to focus on the road when she is behind the wheel. For example, Alex did not like taking the time to sit down and eat breakfast at home before school. Instead, she ate her breakfast while she was driving, bringing her full smoothie cup
