Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers' license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today. Getting my drivers' license was an intense feeling that I will never forget. Just knowing that I had a drivers' license made me feel so free, as free as a bird flying in the open sky with no real place to go, just a desire to be …show more content…
Driving fast in a car may be unsafe but the thrill and excitement of high rates of speed gave me a rush I had never felt before. Seeing, feeling and hearing everything go by faster made the whole driving experience so much better. My mouth watered with envy as I approached the drivers' seat every time I went out for a drive. The automobile, as a whole, became a high interest of mine; the styling, the sound and the speed of it. I loved driving and I loved cars and all of this new found love was from the birth of my drivers' license. Such a simple piece of paper opened up such a broad area of learning for me; it was of much amazement to me. Receiving my drivers' license was the best day of my life. It will be remembered forever because of the feelings, experience and new beginnings that it gave me. Today, I still hold my interest in the automobile but the thrill of driving has dulled significantly since I receive many traffic tickets and went through a period of license suspension. But, still, that day remains the best day of my life. The day I received my drivers' license will never be forgotten for as long as I
The most outstanding moment of my life so far is when i got my first car.It was a cool March morning in Pensacola Florida.I had my drivers test at eight thirty in the morning at the DMV on W street. As i got to the DMV ,we checked in for my appointment we had made.Soon the instructor came out and told me it was my turn.As nervous but as ready as i could be,i followed him out to my car. After he checked to make sure all safety requirement were checked,i began my test. All i could remember was what my parents had told me.¨If you pass your drivers test you will get a car.¨.When i finished my test,i had only missed 9 points. So i went back into the DMV and took my picture for my license. On my way back home my mom said ¨we have something for you.¨.As
“Best day of my life was January 9, 1997. I was eight years old, and my mom and I went to the zoo on a class trip. I like the bears. She liked the monkeys. Best day ever.
Reading the “California DMV Handbook” has led me to come to realize that driving would not just be breaking the chains of limited transportation and gaining independence, but also being mindful of other people on the road. To be a responsible driver, you have to learn the laws and regulations and watch for people and signs. I would have to be mindful of other cars on the road as well as pedestrians. In conclusion, this book is a book that has changed my life and impacted the way society is shaped in California. The “California DMV Handbook” not only provides people with information on how to drive, but also shows how a simple book can hold the key to unlocking new horizons and breaking
A memorable day for me is when I went to six flags. I got to ride the Texas Giant; I got to eat Funnel Cakes, Chicken on a stick, and Nachos. I had a good time with my family.
Getting your drivers license is one of the most exciting moments in a teenagers life and they just want to get out on the road right away. This is what I was like. When I got my license I couldn't believe it. I thought I was going to fail. Everyone before me in my family failed their first time, so I thought I had no chance.
Erin Whitehouse got her driver’s license at sixteen on her first try. Proud of that, she had begged her parents to take the car out nearly every day. Crossing town had been no problem then. Over the years, though, she had let go of the wheel. Jack, her husband liked to drive, and he had critiqued her driving until she had finally given in and turned the task over him whenever they were together. She had still run errands, but quick runs bore no resemblance to driving to work and home, across town, during rush hour traffic.
The single best day I had has a child was when my mom said that she had a surprise in mind for vacation. She didn’t say what it was but said that my brother and I would love it we took a long drive to St. Louis, Missouri to visit the Gateway Arch. This was an unexpected surprise visiting a museum it was a great time waster but my mom said that this wasn’t the surprise. The next day we went to the big surprise which was Six Flags. The first thing that we did there was visit the water park which had a multiple attractions that you had to at least try all of them. Then we went to the Main Park which had of kinds of rides my favorites being the Batman ride and superman ride that they had. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and the single best
On the day I obtained my driver's license for the first time, it really showed me that I am now an adult that needs to start making an impact and to start making big decisions. Being able to drive showed me that I need to be more mature with my responsibilities and while on the road and save more money and start being responsible with my purchases in saving for gas and other important things that were necessary in my life.
I’m going to talk about how and when I got my license. All the events leading to how I managed to finally get them. It took me a little minute to actually get the guts to do all of the requirements to do so. Everyone in my family was anxious for me to get them so I can do everything for them. That didn’t make me excited like I thought but eventually it would give me permission to have free time because I can drive myself where I need to go instead of getting dropped off that is not cool anymore.
This year I expect to get a license and a car. I have already practiced driving a lot, and have a set appointment on my drivers test (March 8th). I have to get a job soon in order to pay for a car and have been applying to many places, but it's difficult to get a job without experience. I cannot wait to get a car, because that means I don't have to rely on anyone to get me places.
Memories of a Personal Event The door slammed shut. I wasn't sure what I was going to hear. To be
Lastly, once I received my driver’s license it was difficult to figure out where to go from there. Obtaining my driver’s license was exciting, but at the same time I was perfectly content being driven everywhere. After I became comfortable with having my license I have become a more outgoing person. Before I was a homebody, I never really went anywhere besides going places with my family. Now that I have grown into adulthood, I enjoy being more social and making plans with my friends.
A Memorable day in my life, was, when I went to Walt Disney World. I remember the day like it was yesterday. My Trip to Disney World was the most joyous time in my life. There were so, many things to do, for the whole family to enjoy. My trip Walt Disney World was like a fantasy. Visiting Walt Disney World was more like, an escape from the real world. Visiting Walt Disney World Was an experience. I had the chance to see all of the Disney Characters , That, I've seen on television come to life there.
My most memorable childhood event was when I was 15 years old. It was the Fourth of July. A big family vacation a barbeque, over night stay and out of town trip to six flags, and I had a blast the night before me, my mom, sisters and brother packed our bags to stay the night over my cousin house in Goodlettsville ,Tennessee. She had the biggest house ever I thought it was a mansion; six bedrooms two an half bath, a swimming pool, a game/movie room with a nice big kitchen. It was something that I was not use, knowing that we stayed in a three bedroom based on an income apartment on the East side of Nashville.
Throughout my life, there were many days that were significant; however there is only one day that stands from the rest. The most important day of my life is the day I graduated high school. Graduating high school was an emotional day because I felt prepared to exit one stage of my life and optimistic for the next step in my life.
