Education is the most important part to increase all people's knowledge around the world. Co-education means the education of both the boys and girls together in the same place and time. There has been much discussion about the coeducation in schools and universities with the government. People who are against co-education think that it provides low grades and harmful things to happen to the students. However, in reality it is not like the against people think, it is more active, have more ideas, and occasions than the single sex education. The fact is that the coeducation has a lot of power and it has succeeded with the university worldwide, so there are a lot of coeducation universities nowadays. It also can let you know more about the sexual characteristics and have some experiences from each other. Men can get some knowledge like manner, language, and vocal qualities from women and conversely. In "Advantages And Disadvantages Of Coeducation" Philiem (2012) writes that the blending of both the two genders in co-instructive environment eliminates the intrinsic bashfulness in every scholar. Then again, by contemplating, working and playing together in a blended sexual orientation school, learners will be given offices for communicating and imparting their own particular thoughts or notions in the vicinity of the inverse sex. Subsequently, it gives learners an extraordinary motivator to conquer their timidity and upgrade their certainty. Mixed education can let a person know more about the other gender and know how to communicate with each
In single sex schools teachers can tailor their teaching to accommodate the different learning styles between genders to meet the individual needs of their students (Hughes). Without having to worry about making sure both genders understand the curriculum, teachers in single sex schools can focus on one group of students; meeting the needs of that specific gender.
With the mushroom growth of schools and colleges in every nook and cranny, there is another trend in education that has increased overtime; this pertains to increasing co-education schools and colleges. Single gender approach or getting the girls and boys taking education in separate classrooms, schools or colleges is prevalent since long, yet the new trends in education are also leading to a co-education system (Spielhagen, 2008). Despite of a rising trend of co-education system, the debate on whether there be gender separation in colleges and schools always remain there. There is still a huge number of parents who take it a biggest task to decide whether their child will get education in a co-education or single education school.
Imagine two parents who have a child getting ready to go to kindergarten. They are very smart and seem completely prepared for this big milestone. There is only one problem, her child’s birthday does not meet the cutoff date. Now she is faced with the decision of where to educate her child. Does she put her child back in preschool? Should she homeschool her child until the next school year? This is an obstacle faced by many parents all over the country whose children do not meet the cutoff age for enrollment. The answer to the issue is transitional kindergarten. Already implemented in California schools, it is a state-funded, two-year program that allows children to get an extra year of schooling before kindergarten if their fifth
There are many pros and cons about going to a single-gender school along with, a co-ed school. In the passage “Single-Gender Schools Make the Mark” And the passage “Co-ed Schools are Here to Stay” It is very difficult to make up your mind and pick your opinion. Many people thought that single-gender schooling was wonderful and they were here to stay, But that was not correct. I believe that co-ed schools are great for not only the students, but a great adventure for the teachers too.
Co-Ed schools are the better choice when it comes to finding a school to go to. Co-Ed schools give children an advantage when it comes down to being familiar with a different gender. Single gender schools can have a good effect on their students as well, but it is not recommended. When a child goes to a single gender school they get about the same learning rate as a child who goes to a regular school. Parents should choose Co-Ed schools because they are the less complex choice.
MY OPINION: think that co-education is provide the healthy and suitable way because in a coeducational school, boys and girls learn together, converse together and grow into adulthood together. They’re at ease with one another and, in my personal experience, more at ease with themselves. Further, Coed environments prepare students for the real world where they will have to interact with the opposite sex on a daily
Unlike single-sex schools, co-ed schools are educational institutions where boys and girls are not separated, being no restrictions and no classes where only one sex can attend. It is not a practice as old as its opponent, in the past the higher forms of education being reserved only for male students. However, in the recent past
While in high school, students have the opportunity to earn college credit to work towards a degree, while earning high school credit at the same time. This is referred to as dual credit, and more and more students are beginning to take advantage of its many purposes. Two types of these dual credit programs are dual enrollment and advanced placement. While both programs have their advantages, there are several reasons that dual enrollment is rightfully preferred by students than its counterpart. Dual enrollment courses benefit students more overall than advanced placement courses, as dual enrollment programs give students the same benefits, if not more, without the intense rigor and risks associated with advanced placement.
What’s in everyone's mind is if this technique of having single sex classes would work? “Only 59% of girls in mixed classes were scored as proficient, while 75% of girls in single-sex ones achieved proficiency. Similarly, 37% of boys in coeducational classes scored proficient, compared with 86% of boys in all-boys classes.” (Hutchison 9) When they tried out single sex classes they got positive results. There was a huge difference between single sex classes, and coeducational classes. By viewing the end results it is pretty obvious to see that single sex classes are way more effective than coeducational classes. This will obviously help students become high caliber students in order for them to be ready for college. I believe that students would do way much better in school by having them take single sex classes. This may also affect the days that increase or it may not, due to the coeducational classes we have in public schools. The AUHSD needs to understand that in order to help their students become successful, they need to be willing to do anything in order to make that happen. Which means that they can increase days or separate male and female in order to make them successful and prepared for college. The only negative thing about this is that students might be used to single sex classes , and they might be forced into taking coeducational classes once

As a child, i went to a co-ed school with both boys and girls. We had a lot of fun. These articles may lead one to believe co-ed schools are not good for children. That is not always the truth. The 1990s are much different than nowadays. A lot has changed throughout schools such as having a seating chart, the sports are organized by genders, and gym locker rooms are divided by the two genders. Kids tend to be happier when around a mix of genders. The passage "Co-Ed Schools are Here to Stay" has a lot of support for keeping co-ed schools.

“For example, a Canadian study by Schneider and Coutts (1982) found that coeducational schools were perceived by students as being more gregarious, group-cen- tered, friendly, enjoyable, tolerant of noncompliance, spontaneous, and conducive to self-confidence and self-respect than were same-sex schools” (Lirgg 183). This is a positive note because if the students are enjoying themselves and are happy to be in school, they will want to go and work hard. Co-ed schools also result in the

My reasons behind this opinion are single sex schooling has less distraction in class, single sex schools have better learning results and lastly boys and girls in a same sex environment are more likely to pursue subjects they usually would not try.
Everyone knows about co-curricular. What some of us don’t know about curriculum is that curriculum is as a body of knowledge to be transmitted, it is also as an attempt to achieve certain ends in students – product, plus it is as a process and it is as praxis(Mark K. Smith 1996, 2000). It gave many benefits to a wide range of students and it may help them in many ways. It is also a part of education where it is held outdoors or indoors. Co-curricular activities are optional and pursued outside the classroom to enrich the course syllabi. They are meant to complement and not interfere with the studies. Some say that it is does intervene with studies but there are many researches which state the benefits
