In dodgeball youth’s have been playing dodgeball and now lots of people are referring the sport dangerous but, there are many reasons it helps it toward other sports. One reason is

This reveals that dodgeball can teach kids more physical skills and the ability to draw quick decisions, which may be useful in life-situations. A reason that youths should not be banned from cheerleading is that the coaches in cheerleading are certified
Some people personally think that dodgeball is an appropriate sport for P.E. class. One reason why they think that dodgeball is an appropriate sport is because the kids get to take out their anger when they play it. Sometimes in a class a kid gets mad at one of the teachers or classmates and if they play dodgeball that day then they could get all the anger out of their body. Some people think that this is a good reason because every once in awhile someone gets mad at a classmate or a teacher and if they were to play dodgeball that day then they just try to get all of their anger out. Some kids think that this helps them. Some kids who have used this a few times through the school year say it worked for them. If all the students get to release their anger out then they won't be grumpy in the rest of their classes. Some teachers are always saying that the class before them had some grumpy kids in it so it

To start off we will do dodgeball. According to Neil Williams, a professor of the Physical education of Eastern Connecticut state University, he says that “Dodgeball will allow the stronger kids to pick on and hunt the weaker kids” (171). This will prove that the stronger kids in the game could turn up to start to be bullied. Another sport we should cover is Cheerleading. This is because in Cheerleading the stunt is starting to get more dangerous. For example, in 2008 the number of emergency room visits increased to about 30000 (176). This shows that some sports could be dangerous or worse because of the things the sport involves. Now for our final sports football.
Walking back to the Lower School playground, I reflect on how much laughter and joy I had out there. A time where after school was spent running around with friends, instead of hours of homework. Everyday, I would run outside to the playground and play games of soccer, football, and everyone's favorite, kickball. Specifically, on my first day of school I remember playing kickball. It was a sunny and crisp fall day. I felt the goosebumps rise on the surface of my arms and legs, but I knew once I started running . The first person I saw was Tim, and he asked if I wanted to play kickball with him and a few others, and I accepted. It was so much fun running around the bases and hearing all the screams of kids. First base was a metal pole, second

Students, Brian Harpin and Brent Nelson at Kankakee Kays High School [Illinois], enjoy playing soccer for the their high school team. They like being part of a team and feel they do not need to be the best players. "You have to play the game, give it your best shot, and not give up," says Nelson. Some of Nelson’s teammates let the competition acquire the best of them. "Sometimes when they missed the ball, they took out their anger on other people," he says. Other teammates told them to just play the game and have fun. All students must play competitive sports in school to make sure that they do not become obese, and so they can stay in shape.

According to the article Neil Williams a professor at ECSU state’s, “The game allows the stronger kids to pick on and target the weaker kids” (171). This quotes supports that dodgeball makes bullies in schools. Another reason that sports should be banned from youths is because cheerleading has become much more dangerous over the years. The stunts have gotten much more difficult so much more injuries can happen and it has happened. According to the text it states, “Cheerleady emergency room visits have increased almost sixfold over the past three decades. There were nearly
For the dodge ball tournament, the only expense is the $350 cost of holding the event at the armory, according to the Armory Facility Manager, Jason Hess. Chapters of fraternities and sororities can cover the cost by cosponsoring the event. This is a great opportunity for members of Greek Life to complete their chapter expectations by expanding their Philanthropy. By having each chapter donate a hundred dollars to the event, they can help host and participate in the event. SHH will increase their fundraising through the cosponsoring of chapters from Greek Life and having teams participate in the tournament.
“Hey do something!” he yelled. I glanced across the gymnasium and shuffled nervously, avoiding eye contact with my classmates. Huddled in the corner to avoid detection, I took a deep breath to calm my quivering nerves. “It shouldn’t be this way,” I thought. I lay defeated, the last one on the court. The other team hurdled dodge balls at me, what fun! As an array of multicolored dodge balls were pelted my way, I frantically attempted to prevail. I reached out to catch the ball, but my fingers went numb. It slipped right out of my hands. While I can’t remember how long I lasted in the game, it seemed an eternity.
We arrive at the doorstep of the building. I burst through the door right to the lady behind the bar.
In 1994, Sterling Sharpe played for the Green Bay Packers, but he injured his vertebrae and suffered a neck injury and if he continued playing he risked paralyzation (Diaz). Concussions have been become a huge topic, within society. This is a topic that all sports leagues should take into account. A concussion is a bruise to the brain caused by a sudden blow to the head. If an athlete recently got injured and decides to continue playing, he is in danger of acquiring another injury. “This re-injury could cause second-impact syndrome” (Powell). Children and young teenagers are at the greatest risk of traumatic brain injuries. There are professional athletes that still suffer from concussions due to contact sports such as football, and the outcome for a lot of the players that get repeat concussions is sure enough unfortunate because the players become so involved with the injury that the brain is in essence in an overload, and the players cause self-harm. Therefore, it is most definitely an unwise decision to have children take part in sports like this because of the severity in these games, which is favorable in today's society. When considering a youth sport to legitimately analyze whether it is worth risking. Youths should not play contact sports because the equipment is unsafe, an injury could change their lives at a young age, and multiple traumas can lead to early brain damage.
