How Would a Trump Presidency Affect America
Donald Trump is a republican candidate who is leading the polls for the upcoming presidential election; numerous people are terrified that America would deteriorate if he was chosen as president. Furthermore, Trump is excessively publicized about since he has taken one sided views on controversial topics. For example, Trump wants to ban the immigration of Muslims into the U.S. (Diamond, 1), and he wants a border to be assembled between the U.S. and Mexico (McCarthy, 1), which he assumes Mexico will pay for. Trump accounts for 43 percent of all GOP coverage on network news so far this year (Cary, 1). When Trump insults war heroes, women, immigrants, his fellow candidates, and Congress people of
After reading Dog Whistle Politics by Ian-Hanley Lopez, I became disgusted. I was with some disbelief that there were such a thing as dog whistling and how politicians use it to get votes. Most of this dog whistling tactics involves racial slurs. So I decided to do some research to see if any of the current Presidential Candidates of 2016 fell into this category. I looked at all the Republican, since Lopez’s book revolved around the GOP in using these distasteful tactics. I looked at all of the Republican Candidates polices and statements that were stated in debates, speeches, interviews, and social media sites. Unfortunately I found a candidate that was notorious for dog whistling, this Republican Candidate was Donald Trump. When it comes to Trump’s statements in debates, speeches, interviews, and social media sites a lot of negativity is involved around immigration issues in the United States.
Among the presidential candidates for the year 2016, Republican representative Donald Trump seems to have the most ridiculous and controversial campaign ideas. One of his more known campaign ideas has to do with banning Muslims from the United States. He generalized that all Muslims currently, or plan to act as, terrorists who will launch attacks on US soil. Building a wall on the border between US and Mexico is another well known idea of his, especially because he wants Mexico has to pay the cost for the wall’s construction. Even though politicians may paint immigration in a negative light, the United States relies on immigrants to help its economy, so it should not opt to throw them out of the country.
This year’s presidential election is is being referred to as one that will be historic. While the 2016 presidential campaign has in fact caused social and political disagreement, each candidate beginning and remaining candidate in the presidential race brought forth issues in our nation for table discussion. One of the most debated topics during the primary elections and caucus season was the issue of immigrants and illegal immigration. During this time, current Republican front runner Donald Trump declared accusations towards the Mexican and Hispanic community as being part of the American downfall. While making vulgar remarks earned the GOP candidate publicity and support from anti-immigration reform holders, Trump’s remarks also brought forth the argument into the light.
I cannot even imagine how many people will be hurt and how many more clashes between Trump supporters and Trump protestors will occur if he does receive the nomination. Trump is disrespectful to women, members of the LGBTQ community, and of minorities. Yet, Trump is worshipped by those who he has brainwashed through his insane antics. Nearly every word he utters is offensive or hurtful, and I never hear him speak of how he will “make American great again”, except by building a wall between the United States and Mexico. Some may argue that “he’s not afraid to say what people are thinking”, but the people he are supposedly speaking for aren’t even thinking at
After following this year's election, I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge on Donald Trump and his political beliefs. He is an intelligent man. There is no doubt about that. He has many successful businesses, and he managed to somehow convince the majority of the United States to vote him as our next president. However, Donald Trump is a well known sexist and is quite bigoted in his beliefs. The only social class that he cares about is the wealthy upper class, seeing as he is a part of said class. Every choice he makes during his presidency effects this generation and the generations to come. As a fifteen year old who will be affected by all the choices he makes during his presidency, I have many concerns for America when Trump takes office.
Donald Trump has affected our society by what he has said to other countries around the world. He has made a lot
The presidential election this year has showcased an interesting change in traditional voting bases per the two dominant parties. Traditionally, the Democratic Party has had a strong base in the realm of the white working class and those of struggling backgrounds. Interestingly enough, Trump, a billionaire, has significantly changed that, at least for this election that is. Trump has successfully gained a strong backing from the American white working class. He has done so by taking stances on issues that benefit this demographic in ways that they have in recent years been ignored. For example, Trump sees the animosity that a portion of the white working class feels toward illegal immigrants. This is because some of the white working class blame their job loss due to the influx of immigrant workers. While this blame is not correctly placed, Trump gained a huge momentum at the start of his campaign due to his stance that he
Based on Donald Trump’s behavior during his presidential campaign and the comments that he has made that caused controversy and offended people, it is pretty obvious that donald trump is a racist, delusional, arrogant idiot. He may think he knows what is best for our country, but in reality he does not. he is just a rich businessman. He most likely knows nothing about politics. although it can not be accurately predicted as to how the United States would be like if Donald Trump was president, I can make a pretty good guess. He would try to declare war on any country that does not obey his commands. the united states of america would go bankrupt and the economy would slow down more. seeing as his ideas are unrealistic, you can tell that he
From the very beginning of his campaign trail, Donald Trump piqued America’s interest with his blunt and oftentimes shocking statements. With his candidacy came exclamations of making America great, building walls, deporting illegal immigrants, and keeping jobs in the United States. A Google search
Throughout the 2016 election, Donald Trump has affected many people around the world. Ever since he was running for president, his campaigns consisted of disgusting statements that intentionally offended different groups of minorities. In his campaigns Trump has had the tendency to criticise many for how they look or judge them for who they are. However, now that he is our new president, many of the affected groups like women, immigrants, and students have done something to stop him from defeating them.
The year I was born had many extraordinary things that happened and it was a great year. I'm sure every other year was the same way too. Donald Trump is the 45th president of the United States of America and has promised to “Make America great again,” since he started to run for office, but hasn’t done much to make us believe that is what he attempting to accomplish.. Since before the day that it was announced that Trump had won the election, the people of America had been divided on whether they fully support Trump or they strongly dislike everything he stands for. But now, the number of Trump supporters has declined as a result of how he is handling race relations, foreign policy, and immigration.

The highly talkative and controversial Republican presidency candidate Donald Trump has been the topic in politics lately. Trump has made some controversial comments towards Mexican immigration and what he would do as President to fix the problem. In the article, “Trump riles up conservative crowd over illegal immigration, sanctuary cities” by Christopher Snyder discuss what the solution can and will be in keeping the
Have you ever considered the unknown aspects of the Auto Tariff President Trump is planning to pass? While Donald Trump's idea at the surface seems logical and protects the United States automakers, the negative ramifications could be more damaging to the United States economy and citizens. Therefore, it is critical we do not pass this bill. The tariff, will be positive to United States auto manufacturers, because they will not have any tax on them. However, the auto tariff will help secure the border by helping to fund Trumps wall, which could be damaging to the citizens of America. If this tariff is passed, the cars in America will have an increase of expense. Not only is this tariff causing a negative effect on the citizens, this tariff is putting in risk the other jobs that deal with the auto manufacturers. This auto tariff does have its positive aspects, but in spite of the negative effect on the United States citizens and jobs, this auto tariff should not be passed.
