Trump is very rich and his records for success in business is proof he knows how to make a successful empire. “He made his first such splash with the renovation of Wollman Rink in Central Park. The fixes had begun in 1980 but were more or less in limbo by 1986. Trump publicly lambasted the inefficiency of the governmental agencies in charge of the renovation, starting a war of words with then-Mayor Ed Koch. As part of the argument, Trump offered to complete the renovation himself, for free. He finished in three months, for well below the city’s budget and to the satisfaction of most (Donald Trump's Success). “With all this success, Trump wrote the book “The Art of the Deal,” which spent 52-weeks on bestseller lists. 40 Wall Street, a 70-story tower in downtown Manhattan, originally known as the Bank of Manhattan Trust building. Trump bought the building for between $1 million and $10 million in 1995 and renovated it. He would later take out a $160 million mortgage on the building to finance other investments. By 2006, Forbes put a $260 million price tag on the property” (“Investopedia”). “Another bold move that paid off was Trump’s $73-million purchase of the Chicago Sun-Times building .Since it opened in 2009, the tower has been a success, especially the hotel at that location, which is regularly ranked as one of the best in the country”(Donald Trump's

The seven countries included in the Travel Ban are Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen (Jackson). As for Syria, Trump has placed a ban that has an undetermined length of time. This order not only drastically affects the amount of immigrants entering the country, but also the number of refugees.
Trump may be known for his wealth but many aspects has shown that he is definitely bad in business. As president, being good in business is one of the key aspects to succeed, because you have to handle the whole nation’s financial matters. Trump boasted that he earned his own money, but he isn’t like Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg, who are self-made billionaires who were innovators in their fields. Instead, Trump’s wealth is inherited from his father. Almost all his best-known successes are deducible to family ties or money given to him by his

“Make America Great Again.” This is the quote that has been polarizing pundits and the electorate alike throughout this current 2015-16 Presidential Election Season. The man behind the quote, Donald J. Trump, is equally as polarizing in almost everything else he says. From banning Muslims until we can “figure out what is going on” to building a wall along the U.S-Mexican Border, Trump’s rhetoric has garnered praise, condemnation, and everything in between (Trump “Temporary Ban on Muslims”). What is the purpose behind all these dramatic decisions “The Donald” has advocated? What is the meaning behind “Make America Great Again?” The answer is that Donald Trump, in fact, wishes to revitalize the American Dream. Trump states that we have been led astray from the American Dream due Democratic Party and Washington failures. Through his policies of building a border wall, attacking Islamic extremism, and making economic deals for the American populace, the real-estate mogul will build a dream that is “bigger and better and stronger than ever” (Trump “Presidential Announcement Speech”).
President Trump recently signed an executive order that restricts entry from seven Muslim majority countries into the United States. Trump’s immigration policy bans the entry of refugees into the United States for 120 days and heightens additional screening to make sure that they do not pose a threat to the security of the U.S. The order also indefinitely restricts the entrance of Syrian refugees and restricts travelers that come from seven predominantly Muslim countries including Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen entry into the United States for 90 days (Shear, Michael). This order would affect over 20,000 refugees, thousands of students nationwide, and hundreds
America has been a proud nation and has always allowed immigrants from all over the world to come in. President Donald Trump has been working on trying to keep America safe, so he is trying to send away potential terrorist immigrants, such as Syrian Refugees, because he believes that this will stop all terrorist attacks on America. Trump signed three executive orders during the week of January 23, which threatened the rights of the immigrants and refugees that would want to go to America. There are 51 Muslim-majority countries and territories and Trump placed travel limits on seven of them (Murdock, 1). There has been a concern for stricter border laws. There are 205 million people affected by this and 1 billion people not affected by this
In March of 2016, President Trump placed a temporary ban on six Muslim countries. With the influx of middle easterners fleeing the middle east due to their war-torn countries President Trump has changed the number of refugees the country receives. President’s Trump focus is to fully understand who is attempting to come into the United States and ensure they are who they say they are. By conduct extensive background checks will give a better a understand on who is not being truthful, weeding out the suspected illegals who would cause harm in America. “Attorney General Jeff Sessions also singled out the refugee program as an issue
Now, Trump has seen the threat of terrorists coming into America under the guise of immigrants looking for work or refugees looking for safety and has decided that, unfortunately, we would have to close of immigration and refuse refugees from the 7 countries that the Obama administration deemed as being connected to terrorism. The ban will last only for 90 days, as the vetting process is refined to keep out threats to the safety of American citizens.
After only 4 days of presiding in office, Trump sent out an executive order suspending any entry of people from seven countries: Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Yemen, and Somalia. These seven countries are Muslim-majority countries that have done nothing wrong now or at the time that Trump put the executive order into motion. This is just one example that puts our president’s
The first problem implemented in the executive order Trump enacted was how the ban’s sudden effects took place . In the article “Trump Bars Refugees and Citizens of 7 Muslim Countries,” President Trump, “...closed the nation’s borders to refugees…[and] blocked [them] from entering the United States...suspending immigration...”(Shear, Michael). Trump places the executive order to ban these countries attempting to rid the country of any terrorists from entering. This action
Donald Trump has promised to make America great again if he wins the presidential election. He talks in terms of creating jobs by reducing government regulations and modifying trade policies that will force businesses to stop transferring jobs overseas. Will that be enough to make America great again?
In the United States, President Trump recently issued a travel ban from seven Muslim majority countries: Libya, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, and Syria due to concerns of the safety of American citizens. However, it was recently overruled by Federal Judge James L. Robart but the president has vowed to have the ruling overturned or have another similar executive order written in its place. The ban consisted of visa restrictions in place for ninety days, refugee admission program suspended for one hundred and twenty days, and Syrian refugees’ admission suspended indefinitely until President Trump feels the vetting procedures are strong enough to ensure terrorists are not allowed in the country on a refugee visa.
