“I will make America great again” – Donald Trump. Donald John Trump is an important person in America today. To many, he is life changing and impacts their lives every day. Trump is widely known for his wealth and fame. Trump is also the head of the country.
Trump was born into a family of wealth. In New York City on June 14, 1946, Trump was born. Trump’s parents are Mary Anne MacLeod and Frederick Chris Trump. Trump is the fourth child of five, his siblings include: Maryanne, Freddy Jr., Elizabeth, and Robert. Trump’s father, before Trump was born, started a single-family home business in Queens that brought great fortune to his family. This let the children grow up with privilege and money (Hopper, Jennifer).

After the academy, Trump decided to attend at Fordham University in New York City. Trump later transferred to the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Trump decided to follow in his dad’s footsteps and study real estate at the university. In 1968, Trump earned a bachelor degree in economics and joined his family’s business, the Trump Management Corporation. While working in the business, Trump copied his father’s work ethic and bypassed his older brother, Freddy, to become his father’s successor at the company. Some of Trump’s places include the Trump towers and hotels in Chicago, New York, and Las Vegas and the Mar-a-Lago mansion. Nonetheless, Trump’s company filed for bankruptcy in 2004 and 2009 after several of their properties gathered unmanageable debt. Also, in 2004, The Apprentice, a reality television show, premiered by Trump. The series had contestants compete in challenges to become one of Trump’s employees.
