Effective Communication Course Analysis

Effective communication in children is to use positive communication to them so they feel relaxed and comfortable around me. It is beneficial to communicate in a positive way not only for the individual child but also the other children in the class and also for the teacher.

These skills I know about and use every day. I now need to focus on increasing my score on the lower ranking sets. I need to learn more types of study aids to help with my course work. Also I know I need to work on communication as well. I tend to stay to myself when it comes to course work. The study consisted of Preschool aged students. Three preschool three-year-old aged students including the focus learner were selected. This study will focus on the focus learner results. Being that my focus learner works well on her own or in small group settings, at times her fellow classmates were invited to join the lessons.Students who participated in this study verbal ability ranged from low to medium skill level. In particular, my focus learner communication skills ranged from low to medium. The focus learner, Mindy, receives occupational and speech therapy five days a week. She is suspected to be on the autism spectrum and is currently being evaluated.

In June 2012, standing at Parade Rest in front of my supervisor, I had to explain myself for making another soldier feel belittled. The course has helped me think in a more concise but abstract manner, which will help me translate my ideas into the real world. This is not my first time working in a team. However, I was usually working with someone who I was familiar with before the class. It was a challenge. I was totally clueless about my teammates, about their skills and characteristics. The worst thing was we had to form a group in our first day. There are many skills on this lesson that I learned from but also reviewed over. Out of all of this skills the best one I'm good at is probably being an active listener. Im good at this skill because when someone needs someone to talk to I will always be someone who will listen to what they have to say. I can sit down and give them my full attention without getting distracted. Although I am a good listener I dont always give the best advice or dont always have the best thing to say back but, I try to help them out with what I can do.
